We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brée Nachelle Hill a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Brée Nachelle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Brée Nachelle Media wasn’t built in a moment of clarity—it was born in the middle of my mess.
After a painful divorce and a sudden health scare that forced me to pause everything, I found myself starting over. Not just in business, but in life. I had spent years helping others grow their brands, show up online, and share their stories—but in that quiet, unfamiliar space, I realized I hadn’t been fully listening to my own.
What I heard was a call for more ease, more intention, and more truth.
So I rebuilt. Slowly. Mindfully. And this time, I made space for softness. I launched Brée Nachelle Media as a different kind of creative studio—one that blends strategy with soul, and honors both the drive to grow and the need to breathe.
Now, I help creators, changemakers, and brands craft digital lives that feel aligned and sustainable. Whether it’s content strategy, mindful coaching, or community experiences, everything I offer is rooted in one belief:
You don’t have to burn out to be brilliant.

Brée Nachelle, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Brée Nachelle—a creative strategist, digital media veteran, and your favorite mindful motivator with a planner in one hand and a peppermint tea in the other.
I’ve spent over 20 years dancing between federal government gigs (yes, NASA-level serious) and digital media roles where I helped brands, creators, and big-dreamers show up with clarity and confidence online. I’m certified in both Social Media Strategy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, which basically means I know how to launch your content without launching you into burnout.
These days, I’m the founder of Brée Nachelle Media, a heart-forward brand strategy and digital presence company for creatives and purpose-driven folks who want their digital lives to feel as good as they look. I help clients go from scattered and stuck to strategic and soul-aligned—whether they’re launching a podcast, building a brand, or finally figuring out how to price their magic without undercharging (been there, healed that).
Some of my core offerings include BREATHE & BUILD, a mindful digital presence challenge that helps creators move from content chaos to calm clarity; Synergy Squad, a creative accountability community for folks navigating big ideas and big feelings; and a mix of workshops, talks, and journaling tools designed to make space for self-reflection, strategy, and momentum.
What I offer isn’t flashy—it’s intentional. It’s built for the people who’ve tried all the templates and still feel stuck. For the folks who are tired of shouting into the void and just want to build something real, rooted, and meaningful. I’m not here to sell a dream. I’m here to support the process of building one—with grace, structure, and a soft place to land when things get hard.
I’ve had to rebuild myself more than once—after burnout, a health scare, and a complete life reset. That lived experience shapes everything I create. I know what it’s like to be the strong one, the go-to, the fixer. And I know how lonely that can be. That’s why my work always makes room for both the ambition and the exhaustion. We honor both.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s this: your pace is not a problem. You don’t have to do more to be worthy. And the version of success that fits you best probably won’t look like anyone else’s—and that’s a good thing.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
At the core of my creative journey is service. Not in the performative, people-pleasing way I operated in for years—but in the grounded, soul-led kind of service that says, “I’ve been there, and I’m not going to let you navigate it alone.”
I serve folks who are in transition—the creatives trying to rebuild after burnout, the multi-passionate entrepreneurs who’ve lost their spark, the people who know they’re meant for more but don’t know what that “more” looks like yet. I hold space for them to pause, reflect, and start building again—with clarity, not chaos.
I know how isolating it can be to look like you’ve got it together while feeling overwhelmed behind the scenes. I’ve lived through the career shifts, the personal resets, the moments where you’re forced to reimagine everything. That’s why my work isn’t just about branding or strategy. It’s about helping people remember their voice, trust their timing, and reclaim their power.
Service, to me, means offering tools—but also listening deeply. It means making sure my clients and community members feel seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are, not just what they produce.
It’s why I created spaces like Synergy Squad, why I teach mindful business practices, and why I share my own story so openly. Because when we give each other permission to slow down, get clear, and move with intention—we all rise.
That’s the real work. That’s the mission. Helping people breathe, build, and believe in themselves again. One idea, one offer, one brave next step at a time.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of my biggest pivots started in 2014 when I went through a divorce. It shook up everything I thought I knew about myself—who I was, what I needed, and what I actually wanted out of life. I had spent years being the strong one, the support system, the overachiever. That ending forced me to slow down and really figure out what my next chapter looked like.
Fast forward to November 2024, and I had a health scare that stopped me in my tracks. It was sudden, scary, and honestly, humbling. I couldn’t just push through like I used to. That moment made me ask some hard questions—about how I was working, what I was building, and whether it truly aligned with the life I wanted.
That was my second big pivot. I didn’t flip my business overnight, but I made quiet, intentional changes that now shape everything I do. I started building my work around sustainability, softness, and clarity—because burnout is not a badge of honor.
Both of those moments—ten years apart—reminded me that it’s okay to shift. It’s okay to start over. And it’s more than okay to build something that works for who you are right now, not just who you used to be.
