We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Bree Didier. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Bree below.
Hi Bree, thanks for joining us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started sooner or later?
June 2022 is when I received my broker associate license in Colorado and joined The Gwin Properties Team with RE/MAX Professionals. If I could go back in time, I wish I would have followed my gut and jumped into being a real estate agent
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I started out in the mortgage business 20 years ago and was mainly an assistant to a Loan Officer/Broker at the time. I handled the front and back end of the file, and always managed communications with the client throughout the process. Much of my career path has been in operations within the mortgage industry, and compliance and lending in healthcare. I stuck to the 9-5 steady income positions because I knew the role, did well, and moved up. Above all else, it was comfortable. Being a Real Estate Agent has always been in my back pocket since starting the mortgage business, but I never pulled the trigger for fear of switching to a sales/commission role. My perception of a “sales position” was very clouded. I never believed it was something that I could do or be good at. My personality is naturally reserved and the thought of cold calling, door knocking, or a direct ask for the sale was daunting to me. Fast forward 20 years with lots of life changes, I believe it’s the perfect role for me. I think with time, building business and personal relationships over the years, I’ve learned it’s more about the relationships you have, the confidence in your product that you are selling, and the confidence in yourself.
I have always provided 100% service to those around me, whether it is with a client or a co-partner. I love serving others and giving them the best experience and attention they deserve and desire. Everyone wants to feel welcomed, heard, safe and trust their needs will be met. It’s important to me that my clients know that I’m on their side and I will work hard to meet their needs. Helping families find their dream homes is what it is all about, and guiding them through the process with integrity and enthusiasm is what I do.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in contact with my clients on a regular basis. Aside from social media where you can find a lot of information and keep up with what’s going on, I also pop-by monthly with little fun gifts. I check in with phone calls, coffee and lunch dates. I do life with my people!
We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
I met Michele Gwin back in 2016 when we decided to sell our home in Parker. My husband, Patrick, was in the lending industry and networked with Michele quite a bit. Michele was, and still is, hands down one of the best Realtors around, and an incredible person in general. When deciding on my career change back in 2021, she was the first person I called to discuss the business and what to expect. She is real, raw and super encouraging.
