Absolutely, I’d be happy to share my insights on what I would do differently if I were to start over in my coaching business today!
First and foremost, I’d emphasize the power of a strong brand identity right from the beginning. Building a clear and compelling brand that reflects my coaching philosophy, values, and unique approach would help me stand out in the competitive coaching market. This would create a consistent and recognizable image that resonates with potential clients.
Understanding the importance of a niche early on, I would be more intentional about identifying and targeting a specific segment of new real estate agents who would benefit the most from my coaching. This would not only make my marketing efforts more effective but also position me as an expert tailored to the needs of that niche.
In terms of outreach and engagement, I would likely leverage the power of social media to a greater extent. Recognizing the potential of platforms like Instagram and Facebook, I would focus on consistently producing high-quality content that provides actionable insights and resonates with my target audience. This approach would help me build an engaged online community of aspiring real estate agents.
Investing more time and effort into networking within the real estate industry would also be a priority. Attending industry events, conferences, and collaborating with other real estate professionals would not only expand my network but also open up opportunities for partnerships and referrals.

Absolutely, there is a resource that has had a profound impact on my thinking as a real estate coach and business owner: “The Go-Giver” by Bob Burg and John David Mann. I came across this book at the very start of my real estate journey, and it was a transformative read that continues to shape my philosophy to this day.
“The Go-Giver” radically shifted my mindset and the underlying reasons behind my actions. This book helped me realize that true success goes beyond financial gains; it’s about creating value, giving without expecting immediate returns, and building meaningful relationships. It showed me that my motivation should stem from a deeper purpose – a desire to make a positive impact on others’ lives.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
The time when I made the challenging decision to pivot from being a real estate agent to becoming a coach and running my own business.
At the time, I had achieved what many would consider a significant milestone – I had become a successful real estate agent. I had worked hard, invested time and resources, and had finally reached my goal. However, despite this achievement, I wasn’t feeling the sense of fulfillment and satisfaction that I had anticipated. The truth was, I wasn’t truly passionate about selling real estate. It was a tough realization to confront, especially after dedicating so much effort to getting to that point.
But it was during this period of reflection that I experienced a turning point. I recognized that my true passion lay in something different, helping others succeed in the real estate industry. I had personally experienced the transformative power of coaching, having achieved my own success with the guidance of a coach. And in my interactions with fellow agents, I found immense joy in offering guidance, support, and insights that helped them navigate their challenges.
This realization marked a significant pivot in my career. Transitioning from a real estate agent to a coach required a leap of faith and a willingness to step out of my comfort zone. It meant giving up a career that I had invested so much time, effort, and money into. But despite the fear, I knew deep down that this was the right path for me.
