We were lucky to catch up with Breanna Mohr recently and have shared our conversation below.
Breanna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been one of the most interesting investments you’ve made – and did you win or lose? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
The best investment I have made when it comes to Breezy Visuals is myself. I invested in myself. I constantly battled back and forth with my work for years, wondering if it looked good or was up to my standards. I can be very indecisive and I feel like it held me back at times. I didn’t have confidence to do certain projects/jobs. I’d say over the past year I have truly invested in myself. I do the creative things that I do because they are fun and I get to show my creativity through my work. I have learned to take advice and apply it. I didn’t know my true potential. I know that as I continue to keep going, the only direction I’ll go is up.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My creative services are ran under Breezy Visuals, photographer and graphic designer. I also do many different creative services such as painting, grad caps, shirts, cups, and everything in between haha. I got into photography back in 2015 when I got my first camera for Christmas. I used my sister and close friends as models. Once I went to college, I ended up investing in a Canon camera which I really enjoyed expanding my photography services with. A little over a year ago, I got a Sony camera again and I love it. It has truly helped me continue to expand my work. I love doing natural light photography. Graphic Design started to interest me in 2016 when I went to play college softball. My coach had me do simple and small projects here and there. I started getting into college athletic commit graphics. When I transferred colleges, my old coach had me do services for Cottey College’s athletic programs. From there, I built off of that and taught myself different techniques along the way. I have always loved creative medias for as long as I can remember. My art portfolio dates back to middle school, when I started saving all of my artwork. I used a lot of mixed media. Recently over the past 6 months, I have gotten into interior painting. Ive painted a few home projects for friends, as well as a logo painting for The Healthy Hub and a whole new office space for Nima Partners! I think what sets me apart from others is my personality. I am always up for a new project or challenge. I know that if I put my mind to something, I can do it. When it comes to my clients, I truly connect with them. I am so thankful for the many returning clients I get because they know they can always trust me when they have their ideas in my hands. I am so proud of myself for always being determined and never losing hope.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I just want to motivate and inspire people. I want people to know me as the person that never lets someone down. My services may sometimes seem small, but to others, the impact is sometimes huge. I hope that my work leaves a memory for people and they will look back on it one day in the future and remember the moment.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect is seeing the final product. All of the hard work, sometimes sweat or tears behind projects, isn’t always shown to others. Those are things as a creative that you will always remember, but when you see your finished product, it is so rewarding. Like wow, I really did this.
