Hi Breanna, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?

Showing your clients/customers that you care is a must for me. Sometimes I will go above & beyond and give a free birthday or even helping them with outfits for events they may have. Showing that you care or are appreciative of their business shouldn’t be a hard thing to do when you genuinely love what you do.

Since I was a little diva trying on my moms heels and playing in her hair I knew the beauty industry was my calling.! I literally can’t see myself doing anything in life. I’ve tried so many other careers but the beauty industry kept me hostage for sure.
I specialize in natural hair styling , silk presses & weaves.
I try to offer a variety of services , so that when a client sits in my chair for the first time …that’s the opportunity to turn them into a forever client.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building an audience on social media is definitely not an easy thing to do! Being consistent, creative and open will get you far on social media. I had to learn not to be shy because your audience wants to see who’s behind the scenes of what you’re offering on your page. Also, you have to spend money to make it. Doing paid promotions on social media is also definitely worth it.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

The best source for new clients has been word of mouth and social media. Even if you get 5 likes on a picture ….100s have seen it. I would start to ask clients how they found me and they say just scrolling on a social Media platform. I’m still in shock when clients tell me that because you never really think that social works but it really does.
