We recently connected with Brave and have shared our conversation below.
Brave , appreciate you joining us today. Any advice for creating a more inclusive workplace?
After many years of groups and different studios I had always dreamed of and wanted to create a space that sole purpose is to create with least amount of distraction possible. A place that’s not only welcoming but gives a sense of home and inclusiveness. We can save all that partying and fooling around for after the sessions

Brave , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Currently I just focus on the production and engineering portion of music. I broke into the industry in early 2000’s as an artist only. Like many who focus on their craft and abilities I strived to not only learn about my craft to get better but I also wanted to do more and be more a part of the whole process of music theory. After many years with a group moving forward I started investing in myself and my own talents that could try to help contribute to the process as a whole. Tho some artistic differences took place, along the lines of learning and growth I found my self becoming more efficient as an artist who wants and does everything for myself. so I could in turn teach others as I learned. Support from friends and family has always been behind me as the push and drive to keep me going. As a functioning producer/engineer now, I try my best to work with all artists to help them get the most and best case scenario to music production and making them not only sound good but provide quality at an affordable rate that doesn’t break the pockets. The services I offer are full music production, mixing and mastering, monetization for artists, promotion, getting the most out of your experience as an independent artist and preparing the artist for the bargaining tablet when it comes to offers and legalities. I came into the industry at a time where all this new technology wasn’t as readily available as it is today with services such as streaming and social media. With that said I’m still learning and learning new ways all the time. Although this hasn’t been a smooth journey at all times there’s a lot of good that comes with the bad or simply not knowing what to do. With discipline and drive to get there anything is possible so best advice I can give is to protect your craft, make smart decisions and most of all do more listening and learning then speaking other then when it comes time to do so. Ask questions about everything because it’s all important . Even tho the industry has grown and become some what of a “fish in a barrel” task because everyone’s doing it what separates a good artist is one who’s passionate about their work, has the drive and discipline, prioritization and sticking to your plan. Practice makes perfect. Forget what everyone else is doing worry about YOU. I think the thing that keeps me going at the end of the day is not relying on feedback to direct me even tho it’s respected, but it’s the fact that I love what I’m good at because this is something I do on a personal level and in turn out it out to gather feedback to get better each time.. I think that what draws people to business is the passion I have and the drive to be different. People like working with me because we walk this out together and I’m resilient. When you take pride like that there is no need to sell anything because people are naturally gravitated to things that make them feel human as we all are.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Word of mouth, social media and streaming services

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
2012 after my last full EP drop my I was at the best and pinnacle of my career while taking on new talent, being 10 yrs into it at the time. Things took a drastic turn when my computer crashed, my child’s mother conceived our first child and having some family matters. This put a complete hault on my career and opportunities. So like anyone I decided to take some time off a “hiatus” if you will. 2020 came around and I decided to get back to it during Covid pandemic. Taking everything I learned and my perserverence I started back up with my current production Hot Box Studio LLC. And been operative ever since on a whole new level
