We caught up with the brilliant and insightful BRANDY YATES a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, BRANDY thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

As a divorcee, I realized why most of us choose the wrong people when it comes to relationships as well as what hurts us when wanting to get in a relationship.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am a certified life coach who owns Conquering Relationships LLC.

My focus is on human empowerment by helping to bridge the gap in the miscommunication and understanding between women and men. I work on us unlearning unhealthy patterns & relearning new ones by improving ourselves through accountability & a mindset change in order to conquer the platonic and intimate relationships life has given us.

I offer as much help as I can through my social media posts, videos, live videos, virtual classes, in person talks as well as vent sessions or coaching sessions.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

Through trial and error I learned to attract more clients by not always being so professional. What I mean by that is that, I didn’t always word things professionally and I stopped showing up as perfect.

Showing the human side of myself allowed people to be able to relate to me more as it relates to life issues.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to learn to stop blaming everyone else for where I was in life and for the decisions I willingly made.

This realization happened once I started healing from my divorce and it brought me to understand the principles in which I built my brand on.

It’s time for a mindset change and we only can move forward in a more healthy way by taking accountability.
