We were lucky to catch up with Brandon Waters recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, thanks for joining us today. So, let’s imagine that you were advising someone who wanted to start something similar to you and they asked you what you would do differently in the startup-process knowing what you know now. How would you respond?

If I were to start over knowing what I know now, I would focus on business operations, create a system as quickly as possible to stick to, document the journey of the process, and adjust when needed.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Hey, my name is Brandon Waters. I’m a newlywed building a family and a business. My business is in storytelling because there’s no impact without it. My company, Waters Films, is in video/aerial production, impacting other companies and businesses for over a decade, telling their Brand Stories by creating engaging content.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I think WORD OF MOUTH because in every single client I’ve worked with from my first music video (over 10 years ago) to now, I always strive to finish a job leaving them with the impression of “professionalism with care.” Do I get it right all the time? Of course not lol. Overall I think that not only helps build my reputation it also keeps it intact too.

All sorts of educational resources that teach communication with your words, actions, and emotions.
