We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brandon Ward. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brandon below.
Alright, Brandon thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission wasn’t planned I was making music for 10 years and still had no purpose I was doing it because I loved the lifestyle of traveling different city every night meeting new people and chasing a dream of getting rich off music but a good a friend of mine Timothy soares invited me one day to help him coach little league football and at the time I just released my 3rd studio album and was coming off tour so I figure let’s give a try! from the first practice kids naturally looked for me to lead them and I realized that I wanted those kids to succeed if I can save 1 from the mistakes I made then I made a difference and from that I started training program called TRC which stands for Technique, Reading and Conditioning I train kids from age 6-18 weekly in Brevard County Florida I have even had semi professional athletes as well…being a former athlete myself makes it easy to relate to other athletes

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
What sets me apart as a coach is I take time individually to learn athletes personality, I take the kid who doesn’t get in the game or struggles to lead and I build there confidence to make them want to come back to the gym or to the field day in and day out, I make the game fun if kids don’t love the sport they will not do well at it so I’m stern but I’m fair I promote winning on and off the field, doing right in school and in their homes, teach athletes how to market themselves to pay for their future education…part of my TRC program we require student athletes to be above average in the class room and weekly report from mom or dad on behavior to even participate in athletic training

How did you build your audience on social media?
I’ve always been computer savvy specially with Twitter, Twitter has gotten me so many show opportunities, magazine placements, interviews dating back to 2010, like I said I was in the performing arts for 10 years prior to coaching youth sports, YouTube was always my friend I upload everything people need to see you win! Tik tok is the most current platform that kids use alot so as coach I post workouts for Athletes to follow I also film there train sessions and share with there parents so they have a product to push early

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source for new clients is actually going to city parks with a few kids and working out, other kids see it who might not ever thought about the sport and now because they see a peer do it, they now too want to do it so I guess you can say I put the product out for display and when they inquire I just tell go on YouTube search “Coach Auto” and any information a parent or athlete needs is all there!
