We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brandon Nash. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brandon below.
Alright, Brandon thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I was probably about 19 years old when I knew that wanted to pursue a creative career. I was a sophomore in college kind of just wandering aimlessly, not really knowing what I wanted to do. I started shooting fun little music videos and promo videos for my friends that created music or had clothing brands. From then on I just fell in love with creating videos. I was shooting something almost every weekend, juggling college and creating; it was a lot but I loved every second of it. 6, almost 7 years later and I’m still creating; short films, music videos, hell I’m even beginning to dabble in creating music myself. I just know that for the rest of my life, I’ll always be looking to make something, whatever that may be.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a visual artist and entrepreneur from San Diego. I own a creative production company (24 Frames) that specializes in music videos and short films. The most important things that I want people to know before they work with us is that their lives changes forever once you work with us. We vow to deliver the best product, something past our clients expectations. An ideology instilled in me from my parents from an early age. We’re over achievers on this side.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is having people look at your work. Even if it’s just one person. Of course you make art for yourself, but at the end of the day you want to share work with the world and see how others react to it.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I’m going to buy both of my parents a car. They love me unconditionally and have always supported me. They’ve done well for themselves and bought their own home a couple of years ago. So since they got their own house, they each get a car from me. Maybe 2.
