Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brandon Keith Rogers. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brandon Keith, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?
I do wish I started my career sooner. Only because I feel like there’s a lot of positive groundwork that you can put in as a young person in this industry, but it takes someone who was given that sort of knowledge prior to really get to flourish at a young age and I just didn’t have that.
I was the first person who was drawn to a creative lifestyle in my family and I’m from a small town in North Carolina, so finding the resources to really thrive did not come so quickly. Although, I do believe everything happens for a reason- so I’m excited to see how the rest of my journey unfolds!

Brandon Keith, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Of course! Hi my name is Brandon Keith Rogers. I’m a multi-hyphenate artist/entertainer. I’m known for projects both on screen and stage; such as Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on HBO Max, Tony in “West Side Story”, Hustling, Brad in “The Rocky Horror Show” directed by Mason Alexander Park, and now the upcoming movie-musical “SATURDAY” starring Drew Seeley and with music by Mark Vogel.
A lot of people tend to ask, which is my favorite/best form of the business (Singing, Dancing or Acting), and honestly – I love all three equally. I think they all really complement one another when utilized correctly.
I really thrive in pieces that can use every day circumstances to really express the nuance and intricacies of every day life and relationships/current culture climate.
My calling in this industry is definitely spiritually driven, I try not to let things in the physical world dictate my worth or where my career is heading. The time I decided to embark on this journey, the rules started to change a little and so adapting to it as best as possible, really has been the biggest key.
Apart from my industry related topics, I love hiking, chess, surfing, or anything at the beach. I also enjoy partaking in Pickleball, tennis, volleyball, and kickball.
My career goals are to be a leading role on a terrific television series, at least attend the Oscars once, have 2 to 4 of my original concept projects completed and distributed in the next 10 years and work opposite of Cooper Koch.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
That is a very good question. Honestly, whenever you hear of a small local theater or someone putting on a production near to you; if you have the financial means, definitely get tickets and just go see it. I think a lot of people only want to see art that is deemed “worthy“ from critics or whoever deems themselves elite. Regardless of the budgets- some of the best work I’ve ever seen in my life has been from lower budget productions because you really just see people putting it all out there honestly and with such passion.
So if society made it more of a norm to support local artists- I think creatives could thrive more in a creatively lead ecosystem.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Yes! If you’re looking for an agent or manager, there is this website called REPUNZEL. It does cost a little bit of money, but if you seriously want to find an agent or manager, it kind of acts like a dating site so it matches you up with someone who is actually looking for your type and can get you a bunch of meetings, swiftly and easily without all of the hustle of doing research and cold submissions yourself. Get into it!
