Brandon, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I have been dancing since I was three years old due to curiosity in the waiting room while my two sisters took lessons. I grew up in New Bedford , MA and was always a creative child at heart. I love the Arts and the ability to express myself through creative avenues. I pursued dance at the university level from a Bachelor and Master level. I moved to NYC to pursue a professional career post college after showing increased curiosity with choreography.

I was a dance competition kid – pursued by the accolade of dance and celebration of skills through trophy’s.

I realized sitting in my West Side NYC apartment without an agent, a Broadway show or any gig lined up I didn’t know where to go.

We come from a world of instant gratification, who you know and who you don’t… and I knew there needed to be an educationally focused business offering the inside scoop of the industry through an educational lens provided to dancers who want to be a Rockette or a Broadway dancer but didn’t know how to get there.

I took my greatest friends in NYC including one of NYC’s top agents and created a community of artists interested in the growth and future of the next generation. Quest Intensive was born…

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I grew up in a very small town where dreams seemed impossible. I came from a trade family, getting my high school education in technology through a vocational high school my grandfather, father and two sisters attended. My mother was the Librarian at the school I went to.

I was a boy who danced. I was colorful, and eager and took my father years to accept my passion and dreams.

My father and mother were the ones who financially allowed me to start this program.

The legacy of this company is due to my parents and the love and passion they showed me as a little boy who danced.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

We offered during Covid19 the opportunity to perform on Camera with the industry’s biggest names and provided real-time feedback on Instagram live. I partnered with local charities and personal savings to provide small cash scholarships over the internet to incentivize, motivate and keep dance alive.
