We were lucky to catch up with BRANDON ELLIOTT recently and have shared our conversation below.
BRANDON, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard.
Something I do differently is being relatable to business owners.
As a former multi-store business owner, I overstand the ups & downs of operating a business. Especially a storefront.
Once I establish a relation with a business owner, I’m able to uniquely craft ideas to assist in brand awareness and marketing tactics to help their business reach the target demographic.
BRANDON, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a master marketing & sales person. I got into it via a pilot tv program that toured the country twice in 2017 & 18’. Having that experience & exposure taught me that I can do anything as long as I put my mind to it.
Followed by growing a clothing line from scratch, into 3 retail stores between ATL & DC in a matter of 4 years. This was the confirmation to my ability to build relationships and market to whoever I needed.
Now I am solely focused on providing the quantitative data I’ve gathered over time, to other small business owners who want to see more foot traffic to their storefront. From commercial style content to marketing tactics to investment paths for your specific business type.
I’m most proud of being a leader in my community to show we all can be supporters of Black owned businesses on a daily basis.
I’ve been to over 200 Black owned storefronts around the country, so I’ve built a network of places we can support with intent.
I want future clients to know that it’s not about money, it’s about being impactful, knowing the money will follow.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is to use the 1 trillion dollar spending power we have, to greater good. Helping us to see the impact of supporting our own communities would do wonders against the struggles we face.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Going from operating multiple store fronts to assisting other business owners on growing their own businesses was a pivot for the better.
It allowed me to slow down and focus on what I pride myself on being great with. Relationships. Sales & marketing.
Since the pivot, I’ve helped several business types see the value with investing in marketing. Developing not only those businesses, also the team I worked with. Now everyone has scaled and has even more clients outside of my relationship with them. A direct result of me working with them.
