We were lucky to catch up with Brandon Culbreth recently and have shared our conversation below.

Brandon, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

I’ve always had a thing for fashion since I was kid like I always loved to dress and put on a fly outfit. I was apart of a previous clothing brand but once I parted ways, I had a vision of starting my own clothing brand but didn’t know where to start. I was going thru a lot at the time with death in family, best-friend got shot and passed & me and my best-friend fell out so I put all that anger and pain into something that I wanted to do. “ Flyy “ came from one of best-friends Josh who got shot and passed. He was always a clean and fly guy who kept himself up to part. I started to brainstorm names until one made sense and fit perfect and it was ForeverFlyy.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

For the people who do not know who I am, I’m going to give a brief introduction of myself. My name is Brandon Culbreth and I am entrepreneur from Raleigh, NC. I started making clothes in 2017 with one of my bestfriends and a few years later we parted ways with each other and I was lost and hurt at the time but I put that hurt and pain into my own craft and came up with one of the hardest clothing brands coming out of Raleigh, NC. Me and my team provide garments

We provide all type of garments to our customers such as Truckers, T-shirts, shirts, sweatpants, and starting to expand more to other garments such as jeans, varsity jackets, and very much more.

I think I’m most proud of myself to start something and keep going because you can get discouraged and overthink and just give up easily but I kept going with what I wanted to do and I found something that to truly love to do. I love seeing the customers going crazy over the garments we release to the public. It’s a wonderful feeling that you can’t just shake off.

I want the followers to know that whatever you want to do in life you can do it. You just put your mind to it, be creative as you can be, and always stay true to yourself and be free. Everyday is a new day to grind and you have to go hard every day.

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.

When I first my brand, I was using a press machine to make hoodies and after awhile I just wanted to up the quality of the garments I wanted to bring to life. I did not know anything about manufactures or where to even find one. I asked around and everyone told me about Alibaba.com. Alibaba is a manufacturing website with millions of manufactures but you do have to communicate with them on what you want and how you want it. I made sure the manufacturer was verified and was a legit business and I started to talk to an employee on alibaba on what type of garment I wanted. I sent him the mock up and was very specific on the print and puff print I wanted on the shirt. You do have to be specific on the details that you want on the garment and not let them just take your money. .

How did you build your audience on social media?

I always had a big following though-out social media such as Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. I have followers from all around the world. once I saw what i can do with the following I have on social media, I learned what type of audience I wanted to propose to. I started to step out my comfort zone with the way I dress and posting reels. I learned that my audience loves reels and That type of fits I put on with my clothing brand. once my followers saw that, they loved and it pushed me to keep doing what im doing with approaching that market and audience for the brand.. I started to get feedback from other social media influencers and from people all over the world. eventually I sent out some garments to a few media influencers because once people see their favorite artist or role model in the garment, they will want the garment also and it just builds from there.
