Brandon, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My Mission: Cultivating Louisville’s EDM Scene
My mission is to build a thriving electronic music scene in Louisville, Kentucky, by sharing the power of live music and bringing people together through unforgettable experiences. Through immersive events and engaging content, I strive to connect people through the electrifying energy of EDM, creating a passionate community that celebrates the magic of live music and its ability to unite us all.
At the core of EDM culture lies PLUR—Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. These values define my vision, and I want to help like-minded individuals connect, grow, and step out of their comfort zones. I’ve always been told I’m a natural leader, and I love using that gift to help others unlock their full potential.
More than anything, I want people to find happiness, and I truly believe I can make that happen by continuing to push forward, share my vision, and spread love through music. The journey is just beginning. ❤️
Brandon, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My Business, Brand, and Mission
My business and brand reflect my identity as a Black content creator, livestreamer, and entrepreneur dedicated to amplifying the world of electronic music and live events. Through @Black on Twitch, I create engaging, inclusive spaces where music lovers can connect, discover, and celebrate live music.
My ultimate goal? To organize a groundbreaking music festival that highlights diverse talent, celebrates community, and establishes Louisville, Kentucky, as a hub for electronic music and cultural innovation.
My mission is to show people that no matter what negativity comes your way, you shouldn’t let it bring you down. Find yourself, and know that anyone can achieve their dreams—it just takes determination and the right mindset to unlock your potential.
I also own Black Productions, a company dedicated to throwing amazing shows with my favorite artists. I aspire to interview and showcase incredible figures in the EDM world, such as BACKWHEN, Excision, and Illenium.
Life is what you make it, and overcoming challenges leads to the greatest victories. I’ve met some of my closest friends through live music, and the feeling of experiencing EDM live is indescribable—like winning the lottery. Everyone deserves to feel the euphoria of a bass drop, and I believe melodic bass, dubstep, and drum and bass embody pure joy.
Music is a universal language, and I want others to feel the love, energy, and connection that I experience at festivals like Bonnaroo, Lost Lands, and EDC.
Known as Black_Wubz, I once streamed for 12 hours a day for five years STRAIGHT, but stepping into the real world helped me discover my true passions—and my real friends.
Some of my favorite memories include playing Pokémon Crystal, trickshotting in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and those golden days of Xbox 360 gaming, FaZe videos, and Guitar Hero parties. Halo 3 was another defining part of my childhood, shaping the way I connect with others through shared experiences and passion.
I am proud of who I am, and anyone who knows me knows I stand for greatness, community, and uplifting others. I care deeply about showcasing the incredible talents of my friends and always strive to be the best version of myself. ❤️
The four principles of EDM and rave culture—PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect)—are values I live by, not just at festivals, but in everyday life. Everyone deserves love, respect, and happiness. We are all equally important, no matter our background or journey.
Helping Others Grow
I create engaging, inclusive spaces for music lovers and help others build their brands and social media presence through personalized consultations. With my deep understanding of content creation and audience engagement, I offer expert advice to individuals looking to grow their digital footprint and personal brand.
With my experience, people seek my expertise to elevate their brands and find success in the digital world.
If I can make someone’s day better just by making them laugh—whether it’s through my wacky outfits or my goofy personality—then I’ve done something right. Everyone needs a good laugh, even if it’s at my expense, because joy is meant to be shared. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I’ve brightened someone’s day, even in the smallest way.

Authenticity & Building Genuine Connections
In a world where social media often showcases only the highlights, it’s easy to forget that most people don’t share their struggles and setbacks. Many focus on projecting a perfect image of success, even when they’re not truly happy. To me, authenticity is everything. Having followers doesn’t make anyone superior—it’s about genuine connections with like-minded people. The more I’ve stayed true to myself, the more loyal friendships I’ve built with incredible people from all over the world. Authenticity over popularity—always.
Engaging with my “fans” and “followers” is how I stay connected, not just as an influencer, but as a person. I genuinely enjoy taking time out of my day to respond and interact with those who support my journey. The fact that someone enjoys my content enough to reach out means the world to me. Making someone’s day just by being my weird, genuine self? That’s the ultimate reward.
Organic engagement will always go further than paid ads. It’s real, it’s meaningful, and it builds lasting relationships. That’s why Snapchat (@ozintt) has become such a crucial tool for me—it’s the easiest way to communicate and share my experiences. Plus, the Memories feature is a godsend. Seeing a moment from “7 years ago today” hits differently—it brings back emotions and nostalgia in a way nothing else can. Whether it’s an old friend, a pet, or a high school adventure, those memories are priceless.
My Snapchat handle, @ozintt, is actually my old Xbox Gamertag. I’ve stuck with it because I value loyalty—when someone or something is loyal to me, I always give that loyalty back tenfold.
The journey continues, and I can’t wait to build something even bigger—together.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
From Streaming to Festival Building: My Journey
I went from streaming video games for 12 hours a day to working on music festival sites for 12+ hours a day, weeks at a time. It was a massive shift—going from being the talent in front of the camera to working behind the scenes and helping other artists shine.
I’ve had the privilege of helping build some of the biggest music festivals in the world, including Lost Lands, Electric Forest, and Hangout Music Festival (RIP). This experience made me realize—if I can contribute to building some of the most iconic festivals, what’s stopping me from creating my own?
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to Crew One Productions AND @BlnkCnvsPresents for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime, and to my friend Kenny for referring me and believing in me. I absolutely LOVE being a part of something bigger than myself, and that’s what I’ve always been about—community.
It’s incredible to have people who have followed my journey for over 10 years still engaging, checking in, and wanting to be a part of what I’m building. That kind of support fuels me to the maximum—I’m beyond ready to create unforgettable memories with my friends and colleagues.
My ultimate goal? To build my own music festival! With the knowledge, connections, and passion I’ve gained over the years, I truly believe this dream is within reach. Live music brings pure happiness, and I want to show people that no matter the negativity, jealousy, or hate that life throws your way, you should always chase your dreams and never give up. As a huge empath, I want to uplift others, not tear them down—life is already tough enough. My passion for Electronic Dance Music (EDM) has been unwavering for over 15 years, ever since I first heard Deadmau5 – Not Exactly in 2007. That moment changed everything, and the rest is history. Big shoutout to the UKF YouTube channel for introducing me to a world that I now call home.
