We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brandi Mazesticeon a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Brandi, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
Taking a Risk
In many ways taking risks is a part of my calling/career. Intentionally choosing to take actions with no guarantee of the outcome is a core part of both who I am, and what I do. In particular I remember the moment I realized that it was time for me to share my work in an organized easily accessible way. I was terrified. As a Goddess/Shaman/Medicine Woman there is no template for success and no employee handbook either. I had been effectively supporting leaders and Changemakers for years in a live classroom setting. In 2016, I felt it was time to offer my gifts and services to anyone and everyone who wanted them, and in such a way that they could access the ancient wisdom I possess on demand so to speak. My first challenge was of course, my own self doubt. Although I had been coaching executives and other leaders for years, I struggled to see myself as a teacher; and so was really challenged at the thought of sharing my work in the format of an online course. Yet I knew that the demand for what I was offering was real. After 12 months of deliberating, asking my friends and family for their opinions, making countless lists of the pros and cons of entering the world of online education; I took the plunge, leaving the world’s largest personal professional development company to offer my own body of work to the public. And I’m so glad I did. Almost 7 years later, I still get excited every time anyone registers into one of my online programs. Thanks to the pandemic of 2020, the classroom setting in which I had facilitated previously – also shifted to online course work. So as it turns out, I was ahead of the curve. Over the past seven years I’ve had the pleasure of serving leaders, executives, and every day people through my online courses. As you can imagine the coursework that I offer is quite nontraditional in scope. My programs cover the taboo subjects of the human experience; death, sex, and everything in between; risky subjects in and of themselves. And absolutely the domain of Goddess and Shaman.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
.I’m Brandi Mazesticeon, Goddess, Shaman, Visionary Entrepreneur and Mother of two. For the past 20+ years I have been empowering professionals all over the world to live their best life via a holistic approach to success.
I was 4 years old the first time I used telekinesis to protect myself. By the time I was 8 years old, I was downloading messages and meeting beings from other dimensions on a daily basis. The age of 16 saw me healing children in the rural towns of Guatemala, and by 21, my spiritual gifts fully activated and I found it increasingly difficult to function in the everyday 3D world. So I withdrew.
In the following 10 years, I carefully and methodically gained the priceless ability to harness, focus and channel my tremendous power into specific intentions and commitments.
Since then, I have supported countless people like me, like you- in embracing and learning to work with their unique divine blueprint, leaving them empowered with the courage and confidence to express their magic in the world and bring meaningful products and services to the marketplace.
As a medicine woman in the business world, I combine my corporate experience with my natural talents and support entrepreneurs and executives as a transformational success coach, quantum healer and spiritual mentor. As a Conscious Keynote Speaker, I provide ‘power-up’s and healing for hundreds of people at a time.
As a visionary entrepreneur myself- my latest venture has me learning new skills as I recently acquired a cafe in a small resort town; so pretty soon I’ll be able to add ‘barista’ to my resume. ;) My intention is to offer delicious organic fare sourced from local farmers and of course COFFEE!

How’d you meet your business partner?
I originally met my business partner when we were both living in New York. I now live in the central part of the United States, and she lives in Australia! Back when we met in the Big Apple however, I was coaching for the world’s largest personal and professional development training program and Dina was a participant in one of the courses. I remember the first time I saw her I thought wow she is stunning and there’s something about her that I just don’t get. subsequently at a gathering in my home in upstate, New York, my friends mentioned her, and that she was someone that I should get to know. I remember thinking, why? Well, as it turns out, I fell up my friends advice and invited Dina to come up to my house for a weekend gathering. I remember watching her, observing her actions and movements, unsure of who she was and what she was about. Interestingly enough we stayed connected from that day on. Years later when I asked her to join me in business and come on board as my Director of Programs- I was clear, but I was making a wise decision, and that she would be an excellent business partner. We’ve been working together for the past five years now, and I can’t imagine a better, business, partner, or friend.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
My advice for managing a team and maintaining high morale is to start by instilling clarity within yourself around what your intentions are, what are your commitments are, and what you’re willing to do to fulfill them. From there, taking the time to truly listen to every member of your team is the next best step regardless of what industry you are in. I truly believe the best leaders are the best listeners in the room. When you listen to your team, managing them is effortless. Listening provides you with clarity around what your team needs from you as their leader/manager. Once you know what your team needs, You can fulfill it. Once you fulfill what your team needs, they will do anything to support you in fulfilling your intentions and commitments. Most people are not being listened to in every day life; So you’re listening to your team will automatically instill and maintain high morale. The challenge, for you as the leader of course, is learning how to listen, generously, and without judgment.
