We recently connected with Bram Jongebloet and have shared our conversation below.
Bram, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had started sooner?
I do sometimes wish that I had started my process sooner. I always believed it was impossible for me to learn, but as they say, if you never try, you never know.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi my name is Bram going by the name of Brammos. I’m a dj/music producer from the netherlands and i’m foccusing on making club focussed music.I’ve always wanted to learn how to produce music; however, I believed it was impossible for me to achieve due to my lack of music knowledge. Nevertheless, one day, I decided to give it a try and see where it would take me. I started from the basics by searching for videos on YouTube on how to create basic beats, and this process continued over time. Since the day I began producing, I’ve been committed to improving every day, even if it’s just for 30 minutes or less. I consistently engage in production-related activities, which significantly enhanced my music knowledge. As a result, I was able to release tracks on labels in a relatively short period. So for anyone who’s reading this and is doubting to start something new. Do it. Give it a shot and see where it goes. You never know what will happen.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect is receiving streams and listens on your track. I vividly recall the day I released my first song – the excitement of sharing my music with the world. Despite still being relatively small, each instance of someone listening to my songs or even commenting on them fills me with tremendous excitement.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Support eachother. Give that like to that smaller artist or comment on there posts/songs etc. To smaller artist this will mean the world to them. It will give them such a big boost in confidence and will definitly make there day.
