We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bradley Shuffler a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bradley, thanks for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

I look at life is taking a risk. God only gives us one life I say use it wisely. But I’ve always heard the higher the risk, the higher the reward it’s not easy, staying up late, working on my dream. I had always wanted to do filmmaking, directing, Photography, editing, writing, and some sort of acting in my own movies. Growing up I’ve always had a knack for the camera and editing. I took the rest start mowing business while I was on a business trip for another company in Dallas Texas. That was back in 2019. Looking back now I have come a very long way. the risk has been worth it now more than ever my business partner Scott Moody has been a gigantic help and inspiration to me. He owns three businesses himself, and has really invested into me, and I am so happy to have him a part of the team.

Bradley, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am a filmmaker, Director, photographer, editor, an actor, and a writer. I feel like I’m set apart from other creators because I haven’t had a continuous passion for this and I haven’t let anything stop me. No matter the challenges that I face I do not give up some days are darker than others and I do feel like I’m faced with a few challenges, but you won’t ever see me quit. The only thing I can say is filming has always been a part of me. I feel lost without it. When I’m filming it says if time stops, all my worries, go away, and I have Tunnel vision on the project.

We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.

So like I said, I started the business in 2019. I had worked my way into the ranks, creating music videos. Once I got out of the music video business because it’s some thing I really didn’t want to be around, I really wanted to do commercial work and promotions until I can get to the movie making part. I got some clients here and there along the way from 2021 up, but fast forward 3 1/2 years and I get a message from a friend of mine‘s dad about doing some drone videos for his businesses. Anyways, once we got to talking and seeing how much he was willing to invest in me I was fully committed to make him my co-owner for my company. He knew a lot of big clients and he could benefit the business with them and equipment and knowledge that we needed for the future and I wanted to make sure he got the return and credit that he fully deserved. He has been a true blessing, and we have just been getting started on this business venture together. I can’t wait for a lifetime of business together!

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

I would have to say the time I got a email from HITT Contracting. It was a video for the Volvo school/plant here in South Carolina. I was surprised that I got to shoot the promotion for their buildings that they have built. I’d say it was a higher risk because I really put myself out there through email and sending in my work to them. Needless to say, it was probably one of the coolest shoots of my entire Business career.
