We recently connected with Brad Pluth and have shared our conversation below.
Brad, appreciate you joining us today. Alright, let’s take a stroll on memory lane, back to when you were an apprentice or intern. What’s a memorable story from that time that you can share with us?
I’ve observed, taken lessons from or attended seminars from 187 Golf Digest Top 100 Coaches (some have fallen off the list) and now I’m listed as Best in the State of Minnesota.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Coach and teach online and in person golf to develop the skills, strategies and mindset golfers need to achieve their goals. Use a model of Assess, Align, Design, and Improve to guide golfers of all ages and ability levels.
Using CoachNow to do remote coaching and online coaching thorugh my membership site that customizes how your body moves to strike the ball farther, straighter and more consistently.
Most proud of the smiles I get to see when my students strike the ball solid for the first time, or first time in a long time.
I take an individual approach to teaching how your body works, and a small group approach to teaching skills and how to practice and on-course strategy at courses around the Minneapolis area.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I’ve moved 29 times since graduating college chasing the sun and a little white ball. From Minneapolis to Phoenix, Sandestin, FL, Bethesda, MD where I worked at Congressional Country Club, Hudson, WI, Back to Minnesota.
I’ve played golf in 46 states and 17 countries.
I’ve made 19 hole in ones.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
First lesson I took was from the best teacher in Minnesota at my home golf club where I grew up at Bunker Hills. I understood what he was trying to get me to do but my body would not do it. I started shooting 75 and in a month shot 93 in a tournament and couldn’t figure it out. I went to someone else who was able to help me and my journey to understanding the swing and the game of golf began. I’ved learned from Mike Adams, EA Titschler, Dr. David Wright, Dr. Greg Rose, Craig Waryan, Dr. Gary Gray and a slew of teaching professionals, physical therapists, strength coaches, sports psychologists and biomechanic experts. I’m alwasy trying to get better and figure out how things work. My deductive reasoning skills I learned through my Economics degree helps me create systems and understand what are the components in a development program and how to build programs that really work.
