We recently connected with BR33ZZYY and have shared our conversation below.
BR33ZZYY, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
Throughout my life, I have been suicidal at times, and, like most of us, questioning and confused about my purpose on Earth.
‘Why am I here, what is my purpose?’ I would often wonder, going through temporary phases of ignorant bliss, and then again returning to a state of depressed confusion.
COVID re-directed my life completely. I was set to obtain a degree in international business after studying in London, Dubai and Shanghai in the course of a year. When COVID hit, I had been in London for eight months and my dreams of working
high-end events in Dubai were shattered. I relocated to Florida with my mom (thank GOD!) and figured I would leave after “COVID ended”- which we all know what happened- it didn’t! ;)
While taking refuge in Florida, I started teaching yoga (I had studied it by accident in India back in 2017, but never planned on becoming a teacher!), taught myself how to DJ, and came up with my concept T3CHNOLINI. T3CHNOLINI combines Kundalini yoga (the yoga of awareness, which deals a lot with spinal movement, moving creative energy, and breathwork) with the heartbeat of techno music, to make the experience more intense and help beginners follow the breathwork more easily.
The first studio I created/taught this in was Zen Yoga in Satellite Beach, FL. Dr. Louise Peters, a Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT) specialist, took my class and wanted to team up to help heal and create lasting change for people. We created Technolini Yoga Therapy (TYT), which has now become Yoga Resilience Therapy (YRT). T3CHNOLINI stimulates both the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, helping all people along the entire spectrum from depressed/lethargic all the way to anxious/high stressed state to regulate, revitalize and elevate their mental, emotional, physical & spiritual states.
In one of our sessions, I felt highly compelled to sing for some reason. Listening to my intuition, I sang a lot and thought of it as a form of prayer.
In the next class, one of our students shared an experience she had in the previous session.
Her husband had taken his life a couple months earlier. They had agreed (while he was alive), that in Heaven they would be wearing the clothes that they had worn on the happiest day of their life on Earth. She shared that while in our session of TYT, her husband came to her in a vision while I was singing (it sounded like angels to her), wearing the clothes that he had worn on their honeymoon. At this point, she finally saw why he had taken his own life. Prior to this, she was not able to forgive him for being so selfish. But, here, she was finally able to forgive him for what he had done, and she became liberated and free to leave her grief behind.
It was at this point that I realized and really, truly felt my life and work had meaning. It may sound cliché, but it was at this moment I realized that my life was important, and had a great mission in helping others heal and elevate to their highest, most divine selves through T3CHNOLINI, and music.
Since then, T3CHNOLINI has traveled in the US helping people in New York, Florida, California, and more, and now runs exclusively at the studio SOULVINES Vines Wellness in Melbourne, FL, with online classes coming soon!<3
Last year, I co-founded SOULVINES Vines Wellness center with my business partner Christian J. Martinez, and that has been another journey of evolution, mistakes, learning, and growth! Making the leap to open a physical location has not been easy, but we are so grateful for the experience!
BR33ZZYY, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Besides my T3CHNOLINI journey which I just shared, I am a musical artist, as well, known as BR33ZZYY. Below is my artist bio:
BR33ZZYY has lived a nomadic life in tune with her Aries and numerology spirit of the number 5, playing the guitar and making music since age 10 and living in 5 different countries. Her love and passion in festivals has brought her through many roles in the festival circuit, and finally she has full-circled back to music/dance, and their ability to heal all.
Through her music & sets, she awakens the divine feminine in us all and shows how through sobriety, we may feel the fullest divine experiences possible in this human form. BR33ZZYY’s deep, eclectic, global house and melodic techno has drawn admirers from all corners of the globe, and her dynamic talents show beautiful diversity between her spiritual acoustic songs she has produced and techno/house electronica DJ sets.
T3CHNOLINI is her creation uniting Kundalini Yoga & the heartbeat of Techno music, and Technolini Yoga Therapy has helped many people to heal, activate and elevate.
What sets me apart from many other healers/DJ/musicians is my use of music by itself as a healing tool, rather than plant medicines, to get to the root of our soul’s issues and healing.
I am most proud of my dedication to inspire others to live a life of integrity and creativity, uplifting the world around them as they do so.
At SOULVINES Vines Wellness, we pride ourselves on being the most friendly, warm, and welcoming wellness center on Space Coast. More often than not, studios can have a superiority complex, with clients only welcomed if they are seen a couple of times. In contrast, everyone who comes through our door is welcomed with a hug, tour, and spray of Maison Palo Santo! Additionally, we are the only diverse, LGBTQ+ friendly studio, with the only Yoga en Espanol, in Brevard. Everyone can feel at home here, whether you are just beginning on your spiritual journey or you are a master;)
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
While starting SOULVINES Vines Wellness with my business partner Christian J. Martinez, we have not been lucky to come from a wealthy family or have great credit to take out a loan to help us (which we didn’t want to do anyway). Thanks to our second jobs and generous supporters in our community, we have been able to stay afloat in our first year.
Despite extremely high rent and none of our finances working as we expected them to given the small population of our area and lack of funding for advertising, we are doing our best and somehow powering through. They say most businesses fail in the first year, and we are almost at that milestone, so we are very grateful.
We took this risk not knowing the outcome, just knowing that we had a calling in our heart and soul that this community, especially young people, need help, and to open a safe space where we could grow our talents, and help other wellness practitioners do the same.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Ever since I was born (basically -LOL) I have had horrible self-confidence and self-image. Especially as women, everywhere we turn we are convinced we are not skinny enough, too skinny, not dark enough, too dark, not dominant enough, too submissive, the list goes on. No matter what we do, it will never be enough and someone will always have something negative to say.
It has taken me until now to learn to be confident in my skin, and accept who I am, what I am doing, and how I am doing it.
I have had to unlearn constantly criticizing myself from society and my upbringing. Reaching success is just about getting out of our own way and allowing ourselves to have full belief in ourselves, what we are doing and what we can accomplish without any self-doubt or letting others’ opinions affect us.
