Bobby, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Hiiiiii! I’m Bobby I am a full time makeup/beauty content creator! I’m 22 and I’m from Atlanta Georgia. Beauty related things and makeup has always been a strong interest of mine since a little boy. I have always admired how makeup could literally change and shift your beauty from literally A to B! My mission is to teach people how to do to makeup and how to do it THE RIGHT WAY! I always want people to know that makeup is for literally EVERYONE ! Everyone can wear makeup!!!!! MALE OR FEMALE. I want the younger generation and the ones before me as well to know and understand that makeup allows you to express who you are. It makes you feel confident and easily enhances your beauty

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I started doing makeup around 2020-2021 during the early stages of the pandemic! Makeup really was an escape from the dark and harsh reality that was being faced in the world. During that time, I fell DEEPLY in love with makeup and I was just captivated and astonished by the creativity of it and how it could literally change how you look in a matter of minutes. I want my followers and supporters to know that it is okay for you to wear what you want and express who you are! Makeup has opened my eyes to the knowledge that you are perfect the way you are! I enjoy doing makeup because it allows me to be innovative and creative and really put my heart and soul into it

Have you ever had to pivot?

Yes of course! When I first started out in makeup! Because I was so brand new to the community and the makeup world, some of the big makeup guru felt like it was okay to make fun of me and create a group chat to talk nasty and rude of me. So that really lit a fire underneath me to really push my craft and really show out as a representation of the people who are exiled because they look different! Every since then I’ve been restless and been really giving it all I got as a creative individual

How did you build your audience on social media?

I gained a audience and a genuine audience at that by just simply being myself! People love authenticity and people like difference! When I came to the beauty industry there wasn’t a lot of beauty boys or girls that really wore an Afro and could beat a mug so fiercely like me so that really allowed me to stand out!
