Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bob Jacobs. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Bob, thanks for joining us today. We believe kindness is contagious and so we’d love for you to share with us and our audience about the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me happened during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. I was struggling with depression and anxiety and made the brave decision to enter a treatment facility, where I spent six weeks focusing on my mental health and rediscovering who I was. During that time, I gained clarity about what I wanted—and didn’t want—in my professional life. I knew I craved meaningful, relational work, but I also realized I didn’t want the stress of running day-to-day operations.
When I completed treatment, I was unsure of what would come next. That’s when Matt Clarke offered me a role at Churchill Title, where my only responsibility was to build relationships—something that comes naturally to me and brings me joy. He gave me not just a job, but a purpose and a soft place to land when I needed it most. His kindness and belief in me helped restore my confidence and gave real meaning to my healing journey. I’ll always be grateful for that.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m a mental health advocate and speaker, driven by my personal experience with depression and anxiety. After navigating my own journey, I realized how powerful it can be to share my story—and how much it can help others feel seen, heard, and less alone. That’s what led me to this work.
Today, I speak publicly about mental health with the goal of educating, inspiring, and breaking down stigma. My talks focus on raising awareness, promoting emotional well-being, and offering practical tools for managing mental health. I combine real-life experience with compassionate insights to encourage people to prioritize their mental wellness, seek help when they need it, and build resilience through life’s challenges.
What sets me apart is the authenticity I bring. I don’t just speak about mental health—I’ve lived it, and I continue to do the work every day. That honesty resonates deeply with audiences and creates space for meaningful conversations and healing.
I’m most proud of the impact my story has had on others—the moments when someone tells me they finally asked for help, or that they feel more understood. At the heart of everything I do is a desire to foster community, connection, and hope.
For anyone considering working with me or following my journey, know this: I’m here to help normalize mental health struggles, to amplify empathy, and to create environments where people feel safe being real. This work is deeply personal, and it’s also profoundly purposeful.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I have been able to build my reputation by being vulnerable and sharing my real- life experiences of depression and anxiety. This has allowed people with the same challenges to relate and help themselves.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media by showing up consistently and authentically, especially on LinkedIn and Instagram. I focused on creating content that resonated—real stories, mental health insights, and messages that invite connection and reflection. Over time, that consistency built trust.
Engagement has also been key. I don’t just post and disappear—I make it a point to respond to comments, answer questions, and have meaningful conversations with my audience. I’ve also built relationships by networking with company executives and thought leaders, which has helped amplify my message and drive traffic to my website.
For anyone just starting out: be real, be consistent, and be patient. Don’t focus solely on follower counts—focus on creating value and building a community. Social media is about connection, not perfection. Share your story, speak from the heart, and the right people will find you.
