BMusique , appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

Taking risks are important parts of living a your life on purpose. No of us asked to be and we were born into a life full of inherited circumstances. If you are anything like me at a young age you were taught to dream big, to set goals, and accomplish them. None of this is possible without a vital step… you must take risks. Prior to me leaving my last corporate job, I completely hated my job. I was a financial aid advisor for a technical college. I filled out paperwork everyday while listening to YouTube videos. I was an entertainer at heart so my job felt like I energy was dying slowly. I knew I had to do something to change my life for the better and whatever that would be, I’d be risking my compensation and my comfort. Now we are many year away from that choice and it was in fact the best choice I could’ve done for myself. I took a risk to pursue my passions versus my comfort. It didn’t come without its challenges but moreover without risks, its less likely to gain rewards.

BMusique , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Hello my name is Bobby Musique Cooks also known as BMusique “The Renaissance Man”. I am a creative entrepreneur. What that means is that I’ve created my. business around my many talents and I contract my creative services through my business. I’m also a singer, actor, writer, creative producer and creative/wellness consultant. I penned a life guide entitled “The Passage a Guide to Your Personal Freedom” and I’m currently the managing editor for “The RSL” which is. a magazine that celebrations all black men.

My background is in music so transitions into the music industry wasn’t very challenging. I released my debut song entitled ” You and I” in 2022.
My clients list and duty for clients range from: studio sessions, live performances for tv and film to creative consultations for photo shoots or providing massage services to a private clients in pain. What I want people to know about BMusique and my brand is that he’s a renaissance man who has wide interests and is expert in several areas

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My mission to help better the lives of others is driving my creative journey .

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

Society can make creative outlets more accessibile and help it appear to be less of a privilege to communicate art..
