We recently connected with Bleu Pablo and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Bleu thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us about a time that your work has been misunderstood? Why do you think it happened and did any interesting insights emerge from the experience?
Ive often felt like an abstract artist lost in translation. People not Understanding the depth of my work has been a struggle; the lack of figurative elements made it hard for audiences to connect. Galleries turned me away, coworkers mocked, and friends suggested sticking to my day job. Despite the discouragement, I persevered.
With each piece, I brought my art to life by delving into the meaning behind colors, shapes, and contrasts. Over time, the tide shifted, and people began to appreciate the consistency in my creations. Still, the journey is far from over. Respect is earned, but I know there’s a long road ahead to achieve the recognition I truly desire. The echoes of skepticism linger, but my love for this craft propels me forward, determined to prove that art, even in its abstract form, is worth the struggle.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative is the ability to translate thoughts and emotions into tangible expressions that resonate with others. It’s the shared connection and impact that art can have on people’s perspectives and emotions that make the creative journey truly fulfilling.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I hold a deep appreciation for the transformative impact NFTs have brought to the art community, particularly in elevating the status of digital art. While I advocate for creative exploration into the NFT space, I emphasize the importance of thorough research before committing to any financial decisions. Although Web3 serves as a valuable tool for promoting creativity, it should be approached cautiously, avoiding its utilization as a sole investment vehicle. Given the evolving nature of this technology, prudence is paramount in making decisions that may have lasting implications for our creative endeavors.
