Blake, appreciate you joining us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?

I worked in sales until I was 27 and hated my life. During that time, I always found solace and passion in creating videos and music in my free time. It wasn’t until I took the leap to move to LA that the stars aligned perfectly for me. The people I met there played a crucial role in shaping my path to success. While part of me wishes I had started my creative career sooner, I’ve come to believe that life unfolds as it’s meant to. Every experience and job I had before taking this leap contributed to the person and artist I am today. So, in retrospect, I wouldn’t change a thing because it all led me to this point.

I’m Blake Scott AKA Moonlair, and I’m a digital entertainer specializing in comedy skits and comedic music content. My journey into the world of online entertainment began with a passion for making people laugh and creating unique, entertaining experiences.

Growing up, I always had a knack for humor and a natural inclination to entertain those around me. However, it wasn’t until the rise of platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram that I found the perfect medium to share my comedic talents with a global audience.

Through my YouTube channel, TikTok account, and Instagram presence, I produce a wide range of hilarious skits, parodies, and comedic music that aim to brighten people’s days and bring a smile to their faces. My content often revolves around relatable everyday situations, pop culture, and humorous commentary on the world around us.

What sets me apart from others in the field is my dedication to crafting high-quality, genuinely funny content that resonates with a diverse audience. I take pride in my ability to blend humor with creativity, using my unique perspective to tackle both lighthearted and thought-provoking topics.

One of my proudest accomplishments has been building a supportive community of followers who share my love for comedy. I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from all walks of life and making them laugh, which is incredibly rewarding.

My creative journey is driven by a multifaceted set of goals and a mission to entertain, inspire, and connect with people. In the short term, I’m passionately working towards writing and starring in my very own comedy TV show. This project represents a significant milestone for me, and I’m dedicated to bringing laughter and unique storytelling to the screen.

As I continue to grow and learn in the entertainment industry, I have ambitious long-term aspirations. I envision myself stepping into the realms of writing and directing, with a focus on creating my own movies that resonate with audiences on a deeper level. This transition will allow me to explore my creativity in new dimensions and share narratives that are both captivating and thought-provoking.

Additionally, I’m inspired by artists like Jamie Foxx, who have successfully ventured into various creative arenas. Alongside my comedy and acting endeavors, I aim to cultivate a small music career, adding another layer of creativity to my portfolio. Ultimately, I dream of headlining a Netflix comedy special, where I can showcase my comedic prowess to a global audience.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative, for me, is the profound impact I can have on individuals and the connections I can forge. It’s incredibly fulfilling when something I create serves as a source of comfort and support for someone during difficult times or brings even a momentary smile to their face.

Furthermore, the ability to connect with people on a personal level and serve as a source of inspiration and mentorship is immensely gratifying. I find purpose in helping and guiding those who may lack the support or encouragement they need to pursue their own creative passions. Being able to play a role in someone else’s artistic journey and witness their growth and success is a deeply fulfilling part of my own creative journey.
