We recently connected with Bilyne Agnes Charles Geffrard and have shared our conversation below.
Bilyne Agnes, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I am hoping to build a legacy of faith, resilience, and determination for generations to come. I want people to always remember to pray about everything and worry about nothing. Prayer changes things. I hope to be remembered as the woman who faced with setbacks but refused to yield. The woman who navigated through the darkest of times and emerged on the other side with newfound wisdom and strength. Additionally, I want the future generations to always remember If their dreams do not scare them, they are not big enough. The size of their dreams must always exceed their current capacity to achieve them.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
My husband walked out on my daughter and me without ay explanation. My daughter was two years old back then. After crying and going through the pain, I armed myself with the little bit of courage I had left. I went back to school to pursue further education. I enrolled my daughter in a good Christian private school, voice lesson, dance and music. I started my own business while working full-time so I can earn extra income. I purchased my first house. I became very involved in my community empowering women around my age, single mothers, or married women lacking the support of a husband. I teach them resilience and determination.
