Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Billy Jennings. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Billy, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?
I manage my own social media using AI tools like Blaze and others, which allows me to handle the entire process myself. In the past, this would have required hiring a dedicated person or team, but with these advanced tools, I’m able to create, schedule, and optimize content efficiently. The decision to manage it myself was based on the flexibility, cost savings, and control it provides.
So far, the results have been positive; I can maintain a consistent online presence while focusing on other aspects of my business. One key lesson is that leveraging AI tools can significantly reduce overhead costs and allow business owners to be more hands-on without feeling overwhelmed. For other business owners, I’d suggest exploring AI tools that streamline social media management, as they can empower you to stay authentic while maximizing efficiency.
Billy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
At AudEarn, we provide a range of services, including website design, chatbot automation, reputation management, support and maintenance, and now, publishing services. We focus on helping influencers, brands, and local businesses establish and optimize their online presence while also exploring new avenues for them to share their expertise and stories through published works. Additionally, we offer specialized solutions like paid communities and SMS fan communication to help influencers monetize their platforms effectively.
What sets me apart is my hands-on approach and personalized service. No two clients are perfectly alike, so I prioritize diagnosing how I can best assist each one based on their unique needs and goals. This ensures that I am deeply involved in every aspect of my clients’ projects, from strategy development to execution, aligning everything with their brand vision.
I’m proud of how AudEarn has grown to serve a diverse range of clients—from influencers monetizing their audience to businesses seeking a digital refresh, and now those looking to publish their work and establish authority. We solve problems such as building high-converting websites, automating client engagement, and generating new revenue streams through digital products, publishing, and community-building initiatives.
For potential clients, I want them to know that working with AudEarn means a partnership where their vision is given full attention and expertise. With over a decade of experience, I am committed to driving results—whether through improving online visibility, developing innovative monetization strategies, optimizing a brand’s digital ecosystem, or bringing their stories to life through publishing. I tailor solutions specifically for each client, ensuring they see tangible and lasting success.
Does your business have multiple or supplementary revenue streams (like a ATM machine at a barbershop, etc)?
Yes, my business has multiple supplementary revenue streams, particularly through upselling digital services and tools. With nearly every client, there’s an opportunity to introduce new solutions that can optimize their operations or boost their revenue. The digital space is filled with incredible tools and software, and my role is to identify and implement the ones that best suit each client’s needs.
For instance, after setting up a website, I often offer chatbot automation, reputation management services, or even publishing solutions to expand their digital footprint. Paid communities, SMS fan communication, and other monetization strategies are also available, depending on the client’s audience and business model. This approach not only maximizes value for the client but also creates diversified revenue streams for my agency.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I’ve always believed that being willing to pivot is crucial, not just in business but in life. Pivoting keeps things fresh, opens up new opportunities, and often results in getting paid more because you’re adapting to what the market or situation demands.
One of the most significant pivots for me was when I transitioned from working exclusively in music and entertainment management to starting my own web design and digital marketing agency. While I had built up years of experience managing brands and developing marketing strategies, I saw an opportunity to expand my skill set and offer services that would help businesses and influencers optimize their digital presence.
The shift wasn’t easy—it required learning new tools and approaches, as well as rebranding myself as an expert in a different field. However, this pivot allowed me to diversify my income streams, reach a broader client base, and ultimately generate more revenue. This flexibility also keeps things exciting for me; by constantly evolving, I stay engaged and energized, which translates into better results for my clients.
In my experience, pivoting isn’t just about responding to change; it’s about staying proactive, exploring fresh avenues, and capitalizing on the best ways to grow and succeed.
