Big, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had started sooner?
I Actually Did Started Sooner As Soon As I Graduated High School In 2017. I Purchased Studio Equipment Recording My Brothers And Friends And A Camera To Shoot Music Videos And Short Films, But I Also Was Getting Caught Up In Bad Things So My Mind Wasn’t Focused. So Eventually I Was Incarcerated In 2020 & 2021. While Incarcerated I Wanted To Start A Record Label, Named It, Slimeto Records, And Also Pursue My Career In Videography. Released In 2024 I Started Over Again. Only Thing I Wish Is That I Was More Focused Back Then. But Im Also Glad I Went Through What I Did Because It Opened My Eyes Today.

My Name Demetrie Givens AKA Big Slime I’m 25 Years Old From Montgomery, Ridgecrest, Alabama. Born And Raised. Im Currently CEO Of A Record Label “Slimeto Records”. Im Also A Sound Engineer And Videographer. What Make Me Different Is My Creativity. Im Proud Of My Process Of Being A CEO. The Youngest To Have A Record Label From My City.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Basically My Brothers Are Rappers And That What Made Me Want To Work With Music. Watching Them Growing Up. The Videos And Edits Just Came Naturally.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My Main Goal Is To Have A Successful Record Label And Help Others And Myself Succeed In Life At Anything They Enjoy Doing.
