Bievienea , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How do you think about vacations as a business owner? Do you take them and if so, how? If you don’t, why not?

Yes I actually do! During my free time, I love to travel with my daughter and visit historical places around the world. I accomplish this by planning in advance.

I am the founder and CEO of Pretty Girl Goals; this amazing new initiative committed to empowering women with the strengths and resources needed to help them transform their professional dreams into a reality. I provide professional development services to my clients such as development workshops, resume templates, interview coaching sessions, and reverse recruiting.

My mission is to create a place where we not only encourage women to move ahead with their goals but also enable them to learn the necessary skills and professional adeptness needed to excel in the competitive world.

We at Pretty Girl Goals strive to promote gender equality in the workplace by highlighting its immense benefits and suggesting ways to implement it through diversity, inclusion, and equity.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Social media and word of mouth has been my best source for new clients. I come across a lot of new clients on LinkedIn who are looking for work, but need assistance with their resume or interview tips. There are also my family, friends, and former colleagues who refer clients to me as well. The more relationships you cultivate and the more connections you make, the larger your power base grows.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I build a strong reputation by being honest, welcoming, and transparent. I am always engaging with clients in a positive and creative way. I am also generous with my resources and work within the community. These actions make clients know that they are valued and respected. Being truthful and honest builds trust and can improve a business’s reputation.
