We were lucky to catch up with Bianca Wright recently and have shared our conversation below.
Bianca , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
One of the most meaningful projects I’ve worked on has been being part of the Tiger Friday #TIGRICON ambassador team. It’s more than just wearing cool, edgy styles (although that’s definitely a perk!). What makes it special is how it’s helped me grow—not just as a dancer, but as a leader and role model. When I first joined, I was excited but a little nervous. I looked up to so many of the other dancers and couldn’t believe I was now part of the team. But through this journey, I’ve found my own voice and confidence. I’ve learned how to express myself on and off the dance floor, represent a brand I truly love, and connect with other dancers who inspire me every day.
Bianca , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hey! I’m Bianca Wright, and I’m a dancer from Frisco, Texas. I’ve been dancing since I was little, and I absolutely love it. Right now, I dance at Next Step Dance Performing Arts Center, where I train a lot and get to do what I love every day.
I’ve been lucky to win some great awards,
Including being a 24Seven Non-Stop Dancer Winner in both 2023 and 2024. I’ve also gotten VIP and Breakout Artist awards at Jump and Nuvo during the 2024/2025 season. These comps have helped me get better and pushed me to keep growing as a dancer.
I’m also a #TIGRICON ambassador for Tiger Friday Dancewear, which is super fun! I get to represent a brand I love and connect with other dancers who are just as passionate as I am.
What makes me different is how much I care about always improving and how I try to inspire others through my dancing. I love performing and sharing stories through movement. It’s one of my favorite parts of dance. I hope that by sharing my journey, I can show others how awesome it is to follow your passion and just be yourself.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the best part about being a dancer is how I can express myself without words. When I’m dancing, I feel like I can show my true emotions and tell stories just through movement. It’s also amazing to connect with people who watch me dance; seeing them feel something from my performance is really rewarding. Plus, I’m always learning new techniques and improving, which keeps things exciting and helps me grow not just as a dancer, but as a person.
