We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bianca Rozzinni a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Bianca, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. The first dollar you earn in a new endeavor is always special. We’d love to hear about how you got your first client that wasn’t a friend or family.
Before branding myself. Me and my husband had another company which we then sold. Like any other businesses out there you have to spend money out for advertising and freebies. We went to our first Bridal Expo which was held in Tampa Bay Amalie Arena. We met a lot of potential clients, event space owners and other vendors that we now have relationships with and work alongside. We did our first raffle giveaway to the selected bride and we did almost 100% of her entire wedding for free.. She has a big wedding and the giveaway package that we raffled doesn’t cover her entire wedding. So, she ended up paying a little amount for the extra arrangements that are not covered in our giveaway package for her wedding day. That is how we met our first client.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi it’s me Bianca Rozzinni born and raised in the Philippines. I moved to the United States when I was 20. I have done a lot of different job from Teaching, to Training Technician, to Microchip Technician, to Product Coordinator, Assistant Manager to Modeling, to Photography, to Designing and so much more until I got pregnant with my second child and my husband wanted me to pursue designing and own my own business so I can have the freedom of doing things between parenting, wife and just being my own boss. Which I now love because we can literally travel when we want to. block off dates for kids’ school functions. family trips and so much more. I feel present with my family after owning my own business.
Floral Designing is what I specialized in. I do all types of events. I love everything about it. Building floral arrangements is such a relaxing activity. It doesn’t feel like you’re working at all. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the amount of projects I have to do. But, after seeing the finished designs all the overwhelmed feelings just went Oof! Gone!
It’s not always unicorns and butterflies. Of course you get hiccups and challenges. Sometimes, your clients want specific things for their arrangements and it’s not available for the month of their event. So I have to propose alternatives and explain to them why and how it will work and that everything will be fine. My clients are always my main concern. So, I always make sure that they are happy with the proposal before they commit.
I think staying calm and always having your composure is important. Being in the event industry is stressful. and working with Brides that are under a lot of stress is very stressful. But, I always maintain my composure and I always have a positive attitude. I understand where my clients are coming from. All of us want our special day to be perfect. we have all been there. I always put myself in their shoes. I can’t be happy if they’re not happy. I always put my 100% to make the best arrangement for them.
I believe that I am a great listener, I pay attention not only to the details of my work but to my clients and their personality as well. There is no limit to the amount of revision that I can do for my clients. Like I said, I want them to be 100% happy with the proposal before they commit. I know I am good at what I do and I take pride in every work I do. So far everything has been a great success.
But I can’t take all the credit here. I have an associate whom I work alongside with. I trust her designing skills. She is very attentive to details and she listens well and has my designing techniques to the T. It is so hard to find someone that you can trust and feel at ease when you know you can’t make it to the actual event. So I am Blessed to have Irma Brannon as my associate and second Lead Designer.
I am also thankful for my husband Joshua Paul for always guiding me and teaching me about business and being an entrepreneur. He is also my personal hype, my personal photographer, my video creator and a lot more.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I am continuously building my social media. I think the main key for me is taking good quality pictures of my work. and by posting photos and reels that are interesting to the viewers. and to make sure that I am showing my process of your building the arrangements so the audience will believe that it was actually my work. That is how they can trust my service. Also, by tagging all the vendors involved. and following other designers where I can learn from. I believe that Social media platforms are the major key role for having a small business or any business in general. Social media is my main and only way to market my service. engaging with all the groups. introducing myself to future brides that are posting and looking for floral services.
So to all the small businesses out there “Take A lot of Photos and Short clips videos that you can turn into Reels Later on”
Get all the Angles!!!
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Social Media, Word of Mouth, Recent Clients recommendations and other Vendors in the Event industry that have seen and used and trusted my service. So thankful for each and everyone of them.
