We were lucky to catch up with Bianca Pietersz recently and have shared our conversation below.

Bianca , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?

Every seemingly unrelated endeavor I have done thus far in life has somehow culminated into what I am doing now. I grew up on stages and in auditions singing, acting, and dancing and was very dedicated to performance in my youth. I always used visual arts as a meditative way of process my emotions and started my first business selling portraits and art which later evolved into animation and Augmentd reality. In 2021, I also started managing a few properties, which gave me a ton of skills in business and handling difficult problems.

When ChatGPT came out, I immersed myself with research and learning. I have always been up to date with every advancement of AI and just wasn’t sure how to narrow my focus and implement something of value. To my amazement my fascination with AI never faded and I became super passionate about exploring the different tools available to me and using them to solve more and more complex problems.

I ended up joining a community of like minded AI Enthusiasts, Developers and Entrepreneurs and was able to build a wonderful team of developers and AI enthusiasts that believe in my mission to transform the way property management is done.

Automagic AI Solutions was born out of the desire to streamline my property management business, reduce stress, and really free up my time to be more creative. We are in beta testing our first product which is an AI Tenant Interaction bot handling all communications so that a landlord or property manager can focus on handling the tougher decisions and doing the in person work.

I am just extatic to share about our product and the service we provide because I do believe this will revolutionize the entire industry.

This journey of discovery hasn’t been easy and there were many times I felt as though I wasn’t sure if I was going in the right direction, but since starting this endeavor it just seems as though everything is aligning perfectly. The world is conspiring to bring this product and service to the market and really help so many people who need it!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am an artist by nature. I look at the world through an artists lens, so for me everything I do is an art form. I truly never imagined I would discover a passion for computer science and AI like I have but it really does bring creativity and functionality together in such a beautiful way!

I am a jack of all trades. I love all things creative and fitness and participate in many activities. I currently teach cardio dance classes and do fun creative projects on the side of my regular work being a property manager.

After having children (I currently have 2 aged 1 and 3) my life was put into perspective. My grit and follow through completely changed and I found a motivation to show them that whatever they want in life is possible as long as they work for it.

With all of the responsibilities I juggle, there really are no excuses. If I can do it, anyone can. All it takes is enthusiasm and being open to learning new things and following through.

Starting Automagic AI Solutions really stemmed from the need to solve my own stress. With our property management tenant interaction bot we are streamlining communications, reducing stress, improving tenant and investor satisfaction, and improving staff retention for owners of property management companies.

I am very intimate with the struggles and problems of being a property manager myself, so I think this really sets us apart. This solution is set to completely change the game! I feel honored to be a part of this AI revolution and am so excited for this product to be able to help so many investors and property managers!

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

My pivot in careers came when I gave birth to my first daughter. Though I still loved my creative endeavors, I was in LA in an industry where I wouldn’t have the time to really focus on raising my baby.

Having a child was a shift in perspective that really changed everything for me. I became much more serious about the things that I wanted to accomplish. I also became much more realistic about the world around me and what it actually took to make my dreams come to fruition.

After having her I set out to create a solo-animated pilot and built a wonderful team of voice actors, a writer, and a composer who could help. I finished a 5 minute animated short pilot in 9 months with a baby in my arms and it really showed me that I could follow through on a longer term project.

This was really the start of my own belief in myself and my work ethic.

Since then, I created an augmented reality children’s book with animations and audio and have continued exploring all of the advancements that technology has to offer.

I don’t think I will ever have one focus or one career. I will always be a multifaceted human being and think there needs to be more acceptance and conversation surrounding that. We all have so many parts of us and I would love seeing all of them flourish and come to the forefront!

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

This is less of a lesson I had to unclear and more of a habit. I had to unlearn searching for validation in others.

Since I was very young, I looked for validation and it led to some devastating lows in my life.

It was a long process of building trust with myself to stop searching and needing that validation from others. I am very proud of how far I have come.

Comparison is the thief of joy, so if validation and comparison are something you also struggle with, it may be a habit that you want to let go of to dramatically increase your life satisfaction and self esteem.

I always tried to find my place in some sort of group until I realized that I could create my own place. Some people are just meant to create something themselves rather than joining something established and that is a totally valid expression. Those are the people with pioneering spirits.
