Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bianca Bridge. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bianca , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I truly took my creative pursuit very seriously during Covid. I have the time to really focus and harness and really tap into my gift and what I can do and truly like push myself and just believe in myself that I can do it, I’ve been singing since the age of six in the church on the choir solos, I also went to the Ontario Conservatory of music as a child for piano guitar and vocals due to moving out of the city of Toronto and going to the city of Durham, I don’t really know what was out there at the time. I was very young just about 15 life just kinda happened and then I found a different passion which I was cooking in high school when I moved back to Toronto went to Humber College. I did the oyap program as an apprentice, but it was really Covid that push me to believe in myself that I can be this singer who also cooks.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
How I got into the industry was through my God Sister. I had a manager before, but there’s some you know issues that happen with that where I linked up with someone else from NYC and then there is some issues with that so a lot of people seeing the potential in the talent and the gift and wanted to take it and either sabotage it or Trying to minimize or put me in a box of how I can use my gift I’ve been in the industry now for about five years. I’m still growing my team still looking for marketing people, but I just put out what I need to put out at the end of the day. I truly believe that spirit Will send the people that are supposed to hear my music or who need my music. I truly believe in the universe that will if I keep pushing the right people will come to me to push my gift further Instagram ads are the best thing me boosting that I do that on both Instagram and YouTube to boost to get views and to build my following, also word-of-mouth is very good and culotte with other artists in the city as well too

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
So starting in the music industry, I didn’t really know as much as I knew now and I think a lot of people took that vulnerability for granted and used and use me. I got scammed at 1000s of dollars if it’s not for managers or marketing people or even engineers trying to mess me up and sabotage my gift in my career I have taken a step back when it comes to certain things I’m not as open about my gift and be about how much money I’m willing to spend on certain things Because most people know that they truly take advantage of this where I’m very very in tuned with my ancestors and spirit of how to move when it comes to the business side of music after cutting off those people and then taking creative control of my creative gift and talent. My debut singles have been doing very very well without the support that I had before I’m still pushing I’m still dealing with engineers that will take my music and take four months to two months to mix and master a song that should take a couple days or not sending me the finished pieces of my project, but at the end of the day, I have a mission That needs to be completed regardless of what people are trying to do to sabotage me and everything always works better for me in the end.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist and a creative because also I cook and sing is the satisfaction of getting it out there because it’s gonna hit someone it doesn’t need to be 1000 people 100 people even if I say one person I made somebody feel good whether it’s by the food that I’m cooking with the cooking with the ingredients or the song that I’m singing so they feel seen I think that for me is the greatest aspect about being a creative. I’m just being who I am authentically I truly believe that authenticity is the highest form of frequency so me just being myself you know I am a creative. I am a creative being. This is what I’m called to do and this is what I was put on this earth to do following my calling is the greatest aspect of being a creative
