Bethany , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
I manage all my own social media’s and create my own content and teach myself all different marketing methods. I have gained over 800 organic followers on instagram with high engagement on posts, reels and stories. I manage my own Facebook page which has really great likes, shares and comments. I am also trying to be more active and tactical on tik tok however that is still in the making!

My name is Bethany and I am currently 20 years old. I decided to create Beth’s Collection in 2021 to do something I love but also to have customers feel good about themselves!
At Beth’s Collection we are all about making you feel confident within yourself, supporting each other and promoting self expression!
By wearing our jewellery we do just that! Whether you love our Pink Butterflies or our Black Butterflies there is something for everyone!
I chose to base my business around Butterflies because they are so diverse and can be for anyone! I came up with the idea to have coloured Butterflies, each with a different girls name. Butterflies have a special place in my heart but I didn’t want to stop there, which is why you can see some other nature related products such as snakes, flowers and leaves.
My jewellery will make you feel trendy, confident and supported!
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I have always been very clued up on social media as I grew up with it always keeping up with the jersey updates and trends. I started by posting about my jewellery pages on my personal accounts to use the audience/followers I already have which was great and I gained around 200 followers from this. From there I made sure to stay active on my accounts and do fun posts such as giveaways to reach a wider audience. I used different marketing techniques to insure my audience was organic and not spam accounts/bots. If I could give any advice to someone starting out it would be to post like you already have lots of followers! Be the person you will become! And please don’t buy followers!!! It does the opposite of what you think it will!
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I have lots of amazing customers! I have a few really loyal and returning customers who adore my jewellery! I always make sure their loyalty is rewarded with either free products or discount codes! I am very responsive on social media when I am tagged in anything and always share to my story/feed. When I reach around 1k followers I am thinking of doing brand ambassadors where customers can get sent free products or have their own discount codes and be a part of Beth’s collection!
