We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bernard Yagee a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Bernard, appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

**Bernard Yagee:** One of the most significant risks I took was auditioning for America’s Got Talent. Stepping onto that stage, showcasing my talent, and navigating through the rounds in Dallas, Texas—it was a leap into the unknown, but one that opened doors and expanded my musical journey in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

**Bernard Yagee:** Absolutely. I come from Lebanon, a place that shaped my passion for music. Despite facing adversity in my early years—raised by a single mother amidst financial struggles—my love for music grew stronger. At six, I started singing and learning classical guitar, and by eight, I began writing songs, setting the foundation for my lifelong dedication to music. My academic pursuits also led me to excel, earning a Lebanese Baccalaureate Certificate of Secondary Education in General Sciences.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

**Bernard Yagee:** Building a clientele in the music industry is about engaging and connecting with your audience. For me, utilizing social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Spotify has been pivotal. Engaging content, authentic interactions, and consistent sharing of my music allowed me to reach a wider audience, which in turn helped grow my clientele.

**Bernard Yagee:** While pursuing my musical dreams in Los Angeles, I faced a daunting health episode that required immediate surgery. Being far from home, navigating such a challenging moment was a true test of resilience. However, I faced it head-on, drawing strength from my passion for music and unwavering determination.
