We recently connected with Benjamin Ballard and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Benjamin, thanks for joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?

I actually started my foundation by doing the right procedures and protocols of getting a license to work with youth. The process of going from idea to execution was simple, I started out by doing small steps that eventually catapulted me into large scale executions. One of the main steps for setting up the business is laying the foundation structure, getting a business account, then finding the right people for my business. I had this idea to work with youth around Northeast Florida, the next day I couldn’t sleep, and in the next few months I started having visions of how i could help the community. Then, I acted on the visions and everything became a reality. Someone else was already doing the work that i have dreamed of; so, what were their fearing, how were they doing, and what was their deficiency, then how can I improve where others lack.

Benjamin, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Giving kids the tools they need to be leaders. Taylor Belle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) established in 2018 and services the youth of Northeast Florida and surrounding areas. We provide empowerment and motivational environment, for youth which fosters academics, leadership development, personal growth, self-esteem and physical fitness for all.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Building our reputation took a few years of networking and marketing at community events and social events.

Do you have multiple revenue streams – if so, can you talk to us about those streams and how your developed them?

Yes, our business has multiple revenue streams, summer camp, After School programs, Annual fundraisers and scholarships.
