We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Benedicta Agyemang. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Benedicta below.
Benedicta, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One of the most important things small businesses can do, in our view, is to serve underserved communities that are ignored by giant corporations who often are just creating mass-market, one-size-fits-all solutions. Talk to us about how you serve an underserved community.
I am the CEO and Principal Attorney of Rehoboth Immigration Law. A law firm that represents immigrants throughout the U.S. Immigrants have generally been an underserved population due to their immigrant status. Especially, those that have experienced human rights violations, both in the U.S. and in their home countries.
The philantrophic arm of the law firm is Rehoboth Hope Foundation – a non profit that supports special needs kids in Ghana. Special needs kids are also an underserved population

Benedicta, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My law firm provides immigration services to individuals and companies in the U.S.
Rehoboth means “making room”, so we pride ourselves in using all legal means to make room for immigrants in the U.S. so they can fulfill their American dream.
We solve immigration issues for clients
We believe what sets us apart are
1. Personal experience – as an immigrant from Ghana, I know first-hand the frustrations that immigrants have to endure. For example, my green card came with a name error (Benedicia, instead of Benedicta lol), and it was such a hassle getting USCIS to change the error. So early on, I understood how frustrating it can be for immigrants who are dealing with the U.S. immigration system.
2. Professional experience – I worked with the Department of Justice, and clerked in an immigration court, so I have an exceptional understanding of how immigration laws, as well as immigration agencies work

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients is word of mouth. No one is more excited to brag about their lawyer, than the one you just did a phenominal job for and got an approval

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
I send them monthly case updates, so they know I’m still on top of their case.
