Alright, Benedetto angelo thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I knew I wanted to pursue the arts as a professional the moment I realized that a brand name was either someone’s actual name, their pseudonym, or even just a word with a meaning behind it. I wanted to create my own
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Greetings to you, I am Benedetto Angelo zoe (B. A. Zoe, or Zoe for short). Most know me as Charisma. I am an artist/entrepreneur/creative from South Florida. Also a United States marine corps veteran. All throughout my life I had a love for how people express themselves through style. And all the time I get positive feedback on how I style myself . I was like “man. If people already like the way I dress I might as well start my own brand and mix it all together. I was also voted trendsetter in my high school year book even with a dress code enforced. Of course I had to take a few strikes with breaking the school uniform policy, but it was worth the sacrifice for the cause. We were allowed get creative with the uniform restrictions. Fast forward I had to make myself familiar with the idea of branding. Then explored how to go about building it into a business. I gained a lot of great friends who I watched build great brands from scratch. It inspires me. As a creative, I’ve ventured into all the forms of Art. From drawing, painting, graphic design, writing, dancing, anything music, and now fashion. It’s all been inspiration for new ideas to add to my brand. ZIGGY by benedetto LLC. The mission is not just garments and accessories, it’s also to incorporate promoting, modeling, networking, creative talent, music, fashion, and business, all together as ONE powerful movement to help impact and regain the social unity of the small business, media/entertainment, and entrepreneurial community. I designed my brand to serve, not only as a store brand name but, as a HUB for creatives to easily access as many resources Through the network structure created in the process. So it’s really just making a entrepreneur/small business “yellow pages”. If you get reference. I’m definitely working to square away a few more changes and finalize everything by mid Next month and officially launch my full platform. What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A big lesson I’ve had to unlearn is fear. I learned fear through my past experiences that I endured with no knowledge. Meaning had I knew the value of everything happening for reason and knowing the importance of patience for myself, I never would have been so reckless with some of the poor choices I made growing up even as a young adult. I am still learning more everyday about myself as I interact more with my intuition. Fear is just the absence of understanding. Whatever it may be.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect for me as an artist or creative is knowing that sharing my craft can help someone gain an idea, Or my work is inspiration to someone. I get to make something I think is cool and share with the world. A positive domino reaction.
