We recently connected with Bella Wills and have shared our conversation below.
Bella, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The story behind my mission is rooted in both my personal experiences and my desire to help others. Growing up as a military child, I was always passionate about helping people. My initial dream was to enter the medical field, where I could make a direct impact on others’ lives. However, as I got older, I realized that my desire to help people could be fulfilled in a different way—through real estate.
I found that real estate offers a unique opportunity to help others in a profound way, particularly when it comes to guiding military families and first-time homebuyers. My husband and I recently went through the process of purchasing our first home using his VA loan. While it was an exciting and rewarding experience, we didn’t feel fully informed or guided through every step. That’s when it clicked for me: there’s a real need for someone to provide clear, compassionate guidance to military families navigating the VA loan process.
Having grown up around the military and now being married to someone in the military, I understand the unique challenges these families face. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help first-time military homebuyers feel confident and supported in their journey to homeownership. Real estate has become my way of fulfilling my passion to help others, but in a different light—by offering personalized guidance and ensuring that military families get the information and support they need to make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
My niche is not just about closing deals—it’s about making sure first-time military homebuyers feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way as they navigate the VA loan process.

Bella, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello! I’m Bella Wills, a real estate agent based in Norfolk, Virginia, and my mission is simple: to help military families and first-time homebuyers navigate the homebuying process with confidence and clarity. Growing up as a military child and now being married to someone in the military, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for military families to find the right home, especially when they’re trying to use their VA loan benefits. This personal connection to the military has driven me to specialize in helping these families, particularly first-time homebuyers, achieve homeownership.
Before I entered the world of real estate, I always had a passion for helping others. My initial dream was to pursue a career in the medical field, as I wanted to make a direct impact on people’s lives. But over time, I realized that real estate offers a similar opportunity—helping people at a major turning point in their lives, guiding them through one of the most significant decisions they’ll ever make: buying a home.
In my time as a licensed agent, I’ve had the privilege of assisting several families, particularly military families, with finding homes, both for purchase and rental. My focus is always on providing personalized, hands-on service to ensure my clients understand each step of the process, especially when it comes to utilizing their VA loan benefits.
I specialize in helping first-time homebuyers—especially military families—navigate the complexities of the VA loan process. What sets me apart is not just my expertise in the VA loan process, but my genuine understanding of military life and the unique challenges these families face. I know what it’s like to move frequently, to have to adjust to new locations, and to deal with the stress of a home search while juggling the demands of military life.
I believe in empowering my clients with the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions, and I’m proud to be someone they can rely on for guidance through every step of the journey. What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients and the positive feedback I’ve received from those I’ve helped. I am committed to creating a seamless, stress-free homebuying experience for military families and first-time buyers alike, and I want my clients to know that I’m not just here to close a deal—I’m here to build lasting relationships based on trust, understanding, and a shared commitment to their success.
If there’s one thing I want potential clients to know about me, it’s that I’m not just another real estate agent. I’m someone who deeply cares about helping military families achieve homeownership. I’m passionate about making the process as easy and rewarding as possible, and I take pride in offering personalized, empathetic service that is focused on what’s best for them, not just the transaction at hand.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has honestly been staying true to myself and sharing my authentic life through social media. I believe that people want to work with someone they can relate to, so I’ve made it a priority to show up as my true self—whether that’s posting about my journey as a 24-year-old dog mom, a Navy wife, or just sharing bits and pieces of my life with my German Shepherd and Golden Doodle by my side.
I’ve found that people connect with me not just because of my knowledge in real estate, but because they see me as a real person navigating life’s ups and downs. Recently graduating from Penn State, juggling the excitement and challenges of military life, and building my career in real estate all give people a glimpse into who I am beyond the professional side. It’s about showing the real, unfiltered side of life—celebrating the wins, being open about the struggles, and offering a sense of relatability that resonates with others.
Through social media, I’ve been able to create meaningful connections with people, and those connections have turned into clients who trust me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Being consistent with my presence online and staying genuine has allowed me to build a community around not only my real estate services but who I am as a person, and I think that’s what truly sets me apart.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Keeping in touch with clients and fostering brand loyalty is all about staying consistent, genuine, and adding value long after the transaction is complete. For me, it’s not just about closing a deal—it’s about building lasting relationships.
I make a point to stay in touch with my clients through regular check-ins, whether that’s through social media, emails, or even a quick text. I like to keep them updated on the market, offer helpful tips, and sometimes just check in to see how they’re settling into their new home. I also love to celebrate milestones with them—like anniversaries of their home purchase or special life events—because it’s important to show that I’m not just here for the transaction, but for their journey in homeownership.
Social media also plays a huge role in fostering that relationship. By staying active and sharing personal moments and real estate tips, I remain present in their lives. It’s an easy way to keep the conversation going without being intrusive.
The key to fostering brand loyalty, for me, is providing continuous value. Whether it’s sending over a helpful home maintenance tip, sharing a local business they might like, or simply offering a listening ear, I always want my clients to feel supported and valued. I want them to know that even after the sale, I’m still here to be a resource, which helps build trust and loyalty long-term.
