We were lucky to catch up with Bella Moore recently and have shared our conversation below.
Bella , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
The biggest risk I’ve ever taken was when I dropped everything to move to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams. I grew up in a small town, and was comfortable with living there, but I’ve never been the kind of person to stay in my comfort zone. I started dancing when I was 18 months old. and never stopped. I fell in love with the entertainment industry including dancing, acting, modeling, and social media from a very young age. I had many opportunities in Boston, and worked a lot as a child. Althought that was all great, I knew LA was where I needed to be to make my career take off. I was going to school, had my home town friends, and my family in Boston. I never even told anyone I wasn’t going back to school the next year, i didn’t know how to tell them. I’ve always wanted so much more than a small town life. I left my hometown friends and family and moved to LA with only knowing a few friends and choreographers who I had met through the years. Moving to LA was the best decision I had ever made because I found where I was meant to be. I never felt completely fulfilled, and wanted more in my life to experience. Living here the last 3 years has made me realize who I want to be.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is a Bella Moore, I’m 18 years old and I’m from Boston Ma. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 15 years old to pursue my career. I’m trained in all styles of dance. I started with competitive dance where I won many titles, and moved on to dance conventions. I’ve been on tour with Pulse assisting top choreographers, traveling to countless cities. I danced for the Boston Celtics, and a highlight of my career has been dancing in a Chris Brown/Joyner Lucas music video “Just Let Go”. I’ve modeled, danced, and acted for brands such as Puma, Hasbro, Russell Athletic, to name a few. After moving to LA, I began growing my social media on Instagram and Tiktok. I post dance videos, and well as relatable and lifestyle content. I’ve grown large enough to work with many brands which has been so amazing and fun. I hope to inspire others and become a light in their day. I want to relate to others and let them know they are not alone!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I first started social media about 3 years ago, and I was just having fun. I started posting dancing and relatable tik toks, which grew into working with brands and promoting them to an audience. I think persistence and dedication is very important, as well as consistency. But the most important thing is that you be yourself and find what works for you. The generation we are living in want someone who they can relate to, we are all human and it’s okay to act like yourself online. Viewers can see right through the glitz and glamour, and see you for you! Just have fun, stay connected to your audience, and work hard!

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I love doing what I do. It never feels like I’m working a day in my life because this is exactly what I want to be doing. While dancing, I am 100% me, authentic and happy. It’s the most rewarding feeling to do what I love. I have learned so much from all of the experiences the industry has brought to me, and I am so excited for more to come.
