We recently connected with Bella Logan and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Bella Logan, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
The most meaningful project I have worked on has to be the Garden of Eden. The biblical story of Adam and Eve served as the inspiration for this work of art. As a result, I set out to employ cutting-edge technology to construct an edited version of what I believed living in the garden during that time would have been like. Furthermore, being trans and a member of the LGBTQ+ community might make me feel like the forbidden fruit at times. Or rather, who I love is prohibited. So, I chose to immerse myself in a moment when genuine love originated and the time when my form of love became “forbidden”.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Fashion has captivated me since childhood. Style has always come easily to me, but as I got older, my style altered and my passion for fashion grew. I bought shirts at Walmart and distressed them as a teenager. I also distressed old jeans I no longer liked to make them fresh. Furthermore, technology was always been my thing as a youngster and adolescent. After discovering PicArts, I started doing interesting edits from my phone and wearing outfits, unintentionally imitating an editorial photographer/model. Many people told me I dressed well and was attractive and should model, but as an ambitious engineer from a family that felt a college degree and 9-5 was the only way to live, it didn’t seem ideal. However, a photographer sought me to be their muse, and I’ve been in love ever since.
In addition, though I specialize in many areas, I am most renowned for my modeling, distinctive style, and modern editing and photography skills. I’m not too fond of the feeling of being confined, therefore I’ve been using all of my talents to express myself creatively. It is my prayer that after working with me my customers feel seen, heard, and valued after engaging with me. I have always been passionate about spreading peace, love, and joy to others as well as finding creative ways to bring humanity together. Nevertheless, my heart and enthusiasm for what I do makes me stand out from others humbly speaking. As of now though, my greatest accomplishment is not giving up on myself and mankind. For every project I have ever worked on the goal has always been to inspire and heal my supporters in a unique way and for my future clients/followers/fans when I am presented a project, just know it is in excellent hands.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Oh my God, if you know me and have been with me for over ten years—that would make you an official OG Follower—you are aware of the way my captivating dance abilities helped me grow my social media following. Even though it still makes me cringe, I have to admit that my rebranding was flawless. My biggest recommendation to anybody looking to start establishing a social media presence would be to learn from the greats and those who came before you. Remain yourself and never try to pass yourself off as someone else. People love someone they can relate to so always be authentic and honest. The most important thing to remember is to remain anchored in God and let him lead and guide you. So, regardless of how large or tiny the win may be, show gratitude and celebrate yourself.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most fulfilling component of being an artist and creative is being able to shed light on individuals who follow and support my work. I aspire to inspire, this is what I live by.
