We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Belisia Roberts – Brandley a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Belisia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
When I created both of these businesses, I wanted to leave something for my children so that they may continue to generate money. My legacy I pray that my children work together and continue to pass these businesses down to their children. By providing Generational Wealth for my family will be the ultimate goal and a dream of mine.
Belisia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Belisia Roberts – Brandley is a self- driven entrepreneur. Belisia is a mother of 5 Beautiful children and a grandmother of 1 grandson name Royal. She is the wife of Gary Brandley. Belisia started her career as a dental assistant in Feb of 2000. Being in the dental field for over the last 23 years and to which this is what led her into her entrepreneurship of her 2 small businesses. With her expertise, she perused her business as a Dental Consultant. In 2016 Belisia was given the opportunity to teach Dental Assisting to which this led to the birth of her business Save A Life CPR.
In October 2016 Belisia was offered an opportunity to teach Dental Assisting at Sam Houston University, which is located in Huntsville Texas. During this opportunity she also was offered to certify her students with CPR and safety training in order for them to obtain their Register Dental Assisting Licenses after passing the State Board Exam. CPR certification is one of the requirements that Dental Professional must renew every 2 years in order to renew their dental licenses. By certifying each student, she had to take a CPR Instructor course. Once she completed the course, she received she CPR Instructor certification.
Save A Life CPR was established in 2017 after booking her first BLS CPR Training with a Dental Office. With still employed at Sam Houston State University 2 nights a week and working at a dental office 4 days a week for a doctor that did not appreciate her worth to the company. Changes were being made at the dental office and Belisia felt that it was time to move on due to the lack of respect from the doctor. Belisia had given her notice with only having a few CPR Classes booked for Fridays only. At this time, she knew that she had to seek more customers for her new mobile CPR training business. Over the years Belisia had temp at many different offices on Fridays as a Dental Assistant. So, finding customers would be easy. At the time of starting the business she did not have a brick and mortar to hold the trainings, so she came up with a mobile service. The mobile service also was an excellent idea because many of the customers wanted to do the trainings at their place of business and or during lunch time.
With Belisia’s dental background acquiring costumers was easy and also it was difficult at the same time. At this time, she developed her own website in order to gain more customers than just the dental professionals. This went well until customers wanted to come to her. April 2019 Belisia leased an office space in Conroe Texas to provide trainings for those individuals who were not included in a group. Finding this office space was the answer to Belisia’s dream. She begins providing classes at her location for individuals. Her business grew fast at this point.
Save A Life CPR is based on referrals from customers or driven in from the website. Over the years Save A Life CPR have provided CPR training for Childcare facilities, Dental Professionals, Doctors, Lawyers, Construction workers, Rest care facilities and many more. Due to Belisia had started teaching more on safety and selling more safety equipment, she decided to rebrand. In late June 2022 Belisia rebranded Save A Life CPR and renamed it to Save A Life CPR Safety Training LLC. With the new branding she is able to include wide range of services to expand and grow the business.
Today Belisia offers a wide range of CPR safety trainings, install safety equipment and sales of safety equipment. As her Dental Consultant business, it provides AR services for dental practices.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Asking for referrals from satisfied clients has incredibly my clientele, as well as asking my existing clients to give me a review on my business website.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building an audience on social media can be tricky. Something that I had to learn myself is that I do not stop to look at boring pictures. The caption must also catch my attention. And by all means do not make the post a long read. Most of your audience only would like to look at your post and basically tell what you’re selling without reading.
It’s simple your caption needs to catch the attention of your audience. Your photo needs to have bright colors to capture the eyes. Use apps to change the backgrounds on some the photo to bring them to life.
