We were lucky to catch up with Belinda Sanders recently and have shared our conversation below.

Belinda, appreciate you joining us today. Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?

. I consider myself extremely fortunate. Although the focus of this article is not my primary business. I will tell you how I was able to acquire success in my primary business quickly.

It literally happened with Godspeed.

I was working hard towards my goals and dreams had spent several years working on myself getting better in the Entrepreneur World learned about money, learned how to respect money, I also learn to beauty of discipline, and I also learned different principles around money. The primary principle that I learned around getting money and increasing money in your life, is the art of getting back.

Once I begin to get back, continue focus on my business be consistent with my 10% and also helping a family having different ministries helping different charities , and so on, I noticed that my income begin to increase from year to year and I have not looked back. It’s been over a decade now and as a result of my hard work consistency and the grace of God, I have word I’ve earned multiple millions of dollars .

Belinda, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am an Overcomer. There is absolutely nothing that set me up in my life for success. I was fortunate, or some may say unfortunate enough to grow up in poverty. I learned early on that living poor it was just not for me.

I always wanted to be the person to help the poor.

So I continued to work on myself, build my traditional businesses, while funding my passion projects.

My passion projects were always inspired from something I had to GROW thru. So if you don’t know me you can find my books on my website and my podcast on YouTube.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect for me in being a creative is the fact that I have the ability to always do what I love. Doing what you love never feels like work. Having the privilege to actually get paid in these spaces feels like cheating.. However, it’s a life that I’ve been intentional about creating for myself and I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I built my audience on social media by engaging with my followers. I also follow others, support their businesses , tell/share their stories etc.
