Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bee The Tiny Dancer . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bee , appreciate you joining us today. Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?
Bee earned his first dollar when the Instagram Reels Bonuses program was introduced. The first video we had monetized was a green screen video with Jeopardy music in the background. It got over 3k views, which was great because it showed that funny, simple pet content can find an audience.

Bee , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Bee The Tiny Dancer started off as a way to show Bee’s unique dancing abilities and as a way to uplift people with fun, humorous, and relatable content. We started the account when Bee was a puppy because of his innate dancing abilities and unique look, as he has an adorable underbite and curved legs (that signify he’s always in first position). Bee is a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) dog and was training for this when we first started the account. It was almost a way to test the waters, to see the impact Bee could make online. Bee’s videos have always been made with the intention of making someone smile, from doing comical skits to showcasing his signature dance moves. We’re most proud of how many other pet accounts and people we’ve connected with and being able to maintain those connections. We’re also extremely proud of Bee earning a CGC title! What sets Bee apart is his happy persona, which naturally translates in his videos. He radiates sunshine in his dancing, his tricks, and sometimes just simply sitting and smiling.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
We can better support artists by making it possible to do their art. The Reels Bonuses program was a great way to motivate artists to share their content and reach a wider audience. Programs like Reels Bonuses should be reintroduced or reinvented, as many creatives depended on them in order to keep producing their content.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
We love connecting to other accounts and going to events. Instagram has connected us with many great creators, many of which we met early on and are still in contact with. We also frequently go to pet parades or meet-ups, which is fun because we get to design floats or costumes and interact with other pets. We especially love the holiday season and getting holiday cards from other dog accounts!
