We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Bee Nicole. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Bee below.
Bee, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I have been a creative since I was 7 years old. I was always an expressive kid. Since day one my two nicknames have been breezzee and smiley. It was a natural progression for my mother to find an activity that could nurture my charismatic expression. The start of my journey began when my mother signed me up at 7 years old to be a nj orator. A New Jersey orator is someone who competes in a series of oratorical competitions such and performing, pros, poetry, speeches, and a variety of other dope categories. I began to memorize literary works and perform them in front of some of the most unique people. I performed with a chapter based out of Piscataway well into the start of my teenage years. I still remember waking up early for competitions my momma hot combing my hair at 6 am, me barely sitting still full of anticipation. I knew then to be such a young girl doing such big things that no matter what I did in life I was gonna bring in all the flava! After I left the chapter I acquired several notable accomplishments, I ran my poor mother ragged.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I have been working on my social media for a while. Actually a few years and one thing I can say for certain is it doesn’t happen over night. I have gained 12 k followers in the last 30 days, my profile engagement is at 1.4 million in a 30 day period. I got to this point by studying ig trends, reels, and taking advantage of the free knowledge ig and youtube have to offer. I track my engagement and watch popular sounds. What sets me apart from others is preparation and finesse.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is simple. I am here to inspire. I am here to show people how to be comfortable in their bodies and love themselves every step of the way. I am here to teach confidence and resilience. I am here to show ppl how to push forward when the odds are stacked. It’s a gift to be you 💕
