Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Becky Yunk. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Becky, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
It started out as I just wanted a horse from the first time I saw one, when I was very young, so I just started drawing them to try to fill the gap of wanting to be with them all the time. This was in grade school. I drew a lot of pictures and I loved art class. I wasn’t very good at school so it was natural for me to want to be an artist so finally I have more time to pursue my passion more.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I got into this because I have always loved horses and I have always wanted one. When I was little I just started drawing them as my only way to be with them and I am still doing that to this day however it has grown into creating other stuff I love and want to be much more connected with.
I specialize in making wire horse drawings however I do do other animals and pet and people portraits.
What sets me apart from other artists is I don’t think any one else is doing artwork like I do. I have found no one else.
What I am most proud of is my individual style and my ability to draw, paint and sculpt as well also 10% of my annual profit goes to these charities: 4% to HealingWarriorHearts.org
3% to Lifestriders and 3% to Horse Power Healing Center which are my favorite local charities.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
It makes me very happy and it is following my passion.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I am very thrilled to be able to give to these charities and do what I love as well as it is thrilling to watch my business grown and see where it all takes me and the people it introduces me to.
