We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Becca Nidzieko. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Becca below.
Alright, Becca thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you share a customer success story with us?
Overflowing closets are a common occurrence in organizing but one of my favorite projects was a client that had 32 racks of clothing from her bedroom to her garage. She was overwhelmed with where to start and completely stressed about having to sort through them. I came to her with a judgement free game plan to downsize her collection and remove this stressful burden that the clothes had now become.
She did amazing at making decisions and when she was unsure, I helped keep her on track by sharing best practices for keeping a tidy closet.
By the end of our time together she had only 2 racks remaining, received over $48k in resale profits and donated 18 bags to local women’s shelters and other organizations in need.
It was a win-win-win and I’m beyond thrilled for her to be back to enjoying her space without the added weight of her excess clothing.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Rebecca and I’m a professional organizer and clutter coach. I work with clients in person or virtually to tackle the most challenging areas of their home. Often clients come to me when they are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or lacking consistency with getting organized. Sometimes that means a closet that is overflowing and lacking proper structure or it could be an office space consumed by paper.
We live in a world where instant access to new things is at our finger tips and delivered a few hours later. It has never been easier to collect clutter and my mission is to help people take back control of their spaces.
I treat all of my clients with respect and kindness as I believe getting organized can be very emotional. I also help teach people new ways of getting and staying organized.
My goal is to help. I remind all of my clients, that their space should work for them not against them!

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
In the early years of my business I didn’t spend enough time identifying my ideal client. I made decisions with the idea that everyone will want/need a professional organizer. What I failed to realize was that by trying to serve every type of client I was stretching my resources too thin and would find myself on projects that were not as directly aligned with my version of success.
Once I realized this, I got very clear on who my exact target client was and focused all of my efforts (marketing & business development) in that direction. Once I did that, it was a clear improvement in not only my level of service but also the satisfaction of the clients!
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
For me, working with lead providers for service based businesses was the best way to get started. Lead providers were a low cost option to get in touch with someone that was expressing interest right then! The thing about organizing is you have to act quickly as people loose motivation easily on tasks they may be dreading.
From there, repeat clients and referrals have really been the primary channels.
