We were lucky to catch up with Becca Moore recently and have shared our conversation below.
Becca, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
One of the biggest things that has impacted me as well as my life and journey goes back to childhood and a lot of the things my parents did honestly. At the time I definitely didn’t see it all as a positive but especially now looking back I will forever be grateful for the things they taught me growing up.
My parents owned a construction company and I was actually homeschooled my entire school career from pre-k to senior year. Being a child to parents that owned their own company definitely taught me a lot about hard work, not only just their own company but construction workers at that. I worked for the company from a very young age doing a lot of the office work with my mom. I learned a lot about accounts payable/receivable as well as all of the book keeping of a business. I watched my parents work really hard and long hours my entire life and continue to watch them still do that.
Being homeschooled was definitely a different school experience compared to most, through that I learned a lot about self motivation, discipline, and how to teach myself a lot. I did online schooling and with that came a lot of self reliance. To this day when learning something new I catch on/learn fast due to knowing how I intake information best. Being homeschooled while working for the company wasn’t always routine with being in the same place at the same time but it taught me how to navigate time management/efficiency with what time I had to get it all done.
My parents were not always the easiest on me and for a long time I didn’t always see the positive in that, looking back now I can see that they were only hard on me because they believed in me and believed in what I could become/how successful I could be. Because of this I definitely hold myself to a high standard as well, I believe that I can achieve whatever I set my mind to and that has had the biggest impact on my life and my success in coaching others to reach their own full potential. You only get what you give, and that trickles down into every part of life.

Becca, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I got into the fitness industry more so in 2016. I had just graduated from high school, I played softball all of my growing up years and needed to transition that competitive energy into something else. I was living in Idaho at this time and really wasn’t finding that same team environment as my previous teams, that is when I found the gym as that outlet for myself. I had lifted/always been super active growing up as well. I would wake up at 4am every morning to workout in my parents little basement gym to start my day so when I started going to an official gym, my love for fitness became that much more.
I was originally going to cosmetology school in Idaho while I worked many jobs, one of them being overnights at Marriott so my schedule was definitely funky to say the least haha. Through this I just learned again, how to be efficient with my time and scheduling everything to conquer all of it. During this time I got my personal training certificate and started coaching on the side. Another job haha! I took a short break from coaching when I moved to Utah and finished getting my masters in medical esthetics as well as competed in my first bodybuilding competition.
I picked coaching back up again in 2021 because my love for the industry grew more and more over the years especially after competing myself in multiple competitions. I love coaching because I get to be that person to help you navigate through all the things that life can throw at us while staying consistent to reach your goals. Whatever those goals may be, whether it be getting ready for a show or just wanting to live a healthier lifestyle, I am here to walk you through each and every step to reach them. At this point there are many coaches out there, my husband and I started Elevated Physiques because we wanted create an elevated experience for our clients. We’re not here to create a simple cookie cutter meal plan with some workouts. We want each client to have a very customized experience for each one of their individual needs as well as support them through their own fitness journeys.
I will always be proud of our attention to detail, as I said above, our goal is really to customize an experience that works for each individual. There are many different ways to get to the same endpoint, what may work for one person may not work for another. I am here to give you sustainability and longevity in this lifestyle and to help you find the way to do it that best fits you. I definitely know what its like to manage multiple different things in life, that doesn’t mean you have to put yourself on the back burner.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Response time, consistency, personability, and passion. As I have said earlier in this interview, there are many coaches out there at this point. I take a lot of pride in the care I provide for my clients. I love each and every one of them and am so grateful I get to be a part of such a personal journey. I will always advocate for whatever brings you joy, whether that be living a healthier lifestyle, competing in a bodybuilding show, running a marathon, playing professional sports, etc. Whatever that may be I am on your team to help you succeed and reach your full potential while feeling the best that you can about yourself. You perform better in all areas of life when you feel good about you and when you fill your cup up before you fill others.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Online marketing is clearly huge for growing your clientele now a days however, the most effective strategy will always be providing a great experience. Anyone that has a great experience anywhere will talk about it to their friends and family. Word of mouth is 1000x more personal than any ad you could ever put out. Your current clients know much more about their friends than you do, they can tell your story in a way that will connect with those friends in ways you cannot. A friend doesn’t have financial interest in pushing products or services, so the believability and persuasiveness of the recommendation goes up accordingly.
Now a days we live in a world full of algorithms for advertising strategy. It’s easy to get caught in that and forget the basics of business growth. You simply have to get the word out. If your customers are eager to do that for you, you should be doing everything you can to help them and provide an unforgettable experience..
