We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bebe Panian a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Bebe, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Parents can play a significant role in affecting how our lives and careers turn out – and so we think it’s important to look back and have conversations about what our parents did that affected us positive (or negatively) so that we can learn from the billions of experiences in each generation. What’s something you feel your parents did right that impacted you positively.
As a young entrepreneur, juggling school and sports every day is difficult. My parents taught me that academics always come first and planning out my day with that in mind is what my parents do right. Moreover, they taught me time management and their consistent undeniable support are key points my parents did right.

Bebe, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a teenager who’s father is a biochemist that utilizes proteins and natural extracted phytochemicals to fight inflammation and regulate our immune system. I took the knowledge I learned from my father and had an epiphany during the pandemic to produce all natural skin care products specifically targeted towards teenagers. Our products are designed to be gentle and safe for young skin, while still helping to address common issues such as acne, uneven skin tone, sleeplessness and anxiety. I am driven by my passion for creating products that are both effective and ethically sourced. I am committed to building a brand that empowers young people to take control of their health and skin care routines. Through hard work and dedication we are rapidly gaining a reputation as a leader in the natural skin care industry and inspiring others to take charge of their own aspirations.



How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
In today’s present time, anxiety and stress related health have become a common denominator among people, and specially teenagers. With the outbreak of COVID-19, the situation has worsened, causing unprecedented anxiety levels among individuals. In the middle of all this, I managed to create an array of natural health products that solved anxiety and skin health problems for people of all ages using natural sources with no oil or chemicals, just water and nature.
I struggled with anxiety and skin issues during the pandemic. I constantly searched for natural alternatives to help alleviate my symptoms, but found that many products contained harsh chemicals that only made things worse. Frustrated, I decided to create my own products using natural ingredients that my father created in his lab for fighting inflammation from auto immune disorders.
I realized that there was a gap in the market for natural and chemical/ oil free beauty products that could also help with anxiety. I acquired knowledge from my father’s lab about many natural extracts, vitamins, and herbs. I used this to develop an entire line of products that catered to both skin and mental health. After several months of research and experimentation, I finally came up with my own formulas that worked incredibly well.
My products became an instant hit. Many people appreciated the unique quality of the products, since it was safe enough to eat. These natural products offered people an alternative to toxic products that often cause more harm than good. Additionally, the products helped people and myself with anxiety and other symptoms to alleviate their stress levels, creating a positive impact on mental health.
My products were not just profitable, but also allows me to contribute to society positively. My journey and resilience inspired many people to follow in my footsteps and create a similar impact. I proved to myself that age is just a number, and with dedication, hard work, and a passion for solving problems, anyone can create a difference.
In today’s world, especially post-pandemic, it has become increasingly important for us to prioritize our health and wellbeing. My products offer a simple yet effective solution to that problem, and they have changed the lives of many individuals struggling with anxiety and skin issues. As a 17-year-old girl, my contribution to society serves as a motivation for all of us to work towards a better and healthier future.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
As a teenage entrepreneur in the natural skin & mental health industry, one effective strategy for growing my clientele is to prioritize the quality and effectiveness of the products I produce. By using only high-quality, natural ingredients that have been scientifically proven to provide health benefits, potential customers are more likely to trust and purchase my products. Additionally, actively promoting the benefits of using natural health products through social media and other online platforms can help to increase brand awareness and attract new customers. Building a loyal customer base can also be achieved by providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer concerns with transparency and authenticity.
