Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bebe Beau. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bebe, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I have wanted to open and operate a Bridal Boutique since childhood. I didnt know anything about the industry prior to getting started, so its been a learning curve. However, I truly love what I do!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi! My name is Bebe, I am a Registered Nurse/Entrepreneur. I own a Bridal Boutique in Hollywood, Fl, B is for Bride. We sell wedding dresses, our price point starts from $500 and goes all the way up to $3000. When it comes to my bridal business I am most proud of the diversity and inclusion B is for Bride brings to the Bridal industry. Being able to cater to the Bride of color, the curvy brude or the plus size bride has been the mission since starting B is for Bride. We are entering year two in the business and we have our clients to thank for it. All of our Brides who choose us to be apart of their special day has kept our doors open and we are so appreciative! Being an entrepreneur will always come with its challanges but lots of planning and preparation has kept us above those challenges. Lessons Ive learned along the way are many, mostly about how to hire the right team, having working capital and the importance of customer service. Id like the world to know, B is for Bride is for all Brides, regardless of where you are in your beauty or body journey, we are all inclusive, we believe every Bride who walks through our doors deserve to be treated with the upmost kindest, respect and our styles are hand picked to make sure you feel beautiful!
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
The most important lesson being in business has taught me is to always care about people. It’s easy to get caught up in the need to make money, but overall i think we have been able to have the success we’ve been having because we put our clients needs first before the sale! One sound piece of advice I recieved early on when starting my business was, don’t try getting rich off one customer. This has allowed us to keep our prices affordable so that we are able to cater to the bride at every price point!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Opening and operating a Bridal boutique has always been a dream of mine, but it was one of those dreams you just have, but never imagine following through on. Like many other health professionals, when Covid hit in 2020, I hit the ground running. I spent two years traveling and working in the ICU. This was a very hard time in my life, seeing so much loss took a toll on my mental health. When things finally slowed down I told myself life is too short to be anything but happy!
So, to take back control of my happiness, I decided I was going to take a break from the bedside and follow that childhood dream of playing dress up and I opened “B is for Bride Bridal Boutique” It was the best decision I could ever make! I never thought it would do so well, I just knew I needed to follow this passion because it makes me happy! B is for Bride focuses on Inclusivity, and diversity and curating a fun and stress-free shopping experience for Brides who are getting married.
